The scanner is available in RealTick right now. What you need to do is click "favorites" on the top menu bar, select "market minder" select "TAL Chain Symbol List" scroll down, my scans are there. Open a market minder window. Drag and drop one of my scans into a market minder window and the results should update (during market hours).

Unfortunately, not many are aware of this or know how to get to the scans. So if you call your brokers or RealTick they might not be aware that this tool is available. But as far as I know, it was working today.

    Enjoy and Profit!

Is this scan available outside of Realtick or as a stand alone version?

Not at this time, sorry :(

I just received a few emails from traders who were not successful in their attempt to use the scans today. It might be a server or a permission issue, so if you encouter problems with it, I don't have a solution at this time.

Since I am leaving to Japan shortly, I won't be able to stay on top of it right now. I apologize in adavance. Once I return, I promise to be on top of things should there still be problems with it.

  4. Hey Tony, great to see you here.

The scans show in the TAL list on my MB Trader, however I'm being told that they do not know when they might be live. So far they do not work for me. Are they working for anyone else right now?

    Thanks,

    Bill

Here is the deal. Most of the RealTick brokers are not aware of the availability of the Oz Scanner, because their priority is to deal with the new margin rules and many confused customers. In all honesty, I can't blame them. However, the Oz Scanner is available and functional. You must however contact RealTick directly in order to activate it. I was told that an email with your user name and a request for activation is all it takes.

I am sorry for all the confusion. I have received an overwhelming number of emails written by upset traders while I was in Japan, and I want to take this opportunity and apologize if my posting here caused you any inconvenience and for not replying to your emails in a timely manner. I take full responsibility for letting the cat out of the bag without specific instructions.
