In terms of slope, hopefully a slope will inform one how to read the charts. The only exception would be the "Flat Line Slope", a slope with less than a +/- .10 reading, which is indicating that a certain type of price behavior exist or will occur. For Monday 4/9 we have an obvious positive slope. In other words price lows will occur below the slope and price highs above the slope. In the following example let's revisit the Amazon 2018 Weekly Price Chart which has an obvious negative slope. With the negative slope price highs will be below the slope and price lows will occur above the slope.

We have a "Flat Line Slope" that is negative for 4/10 and hopefully you remember how to read it from previous post. I haven't ran the volatility charts because of the lack of time. These charts take us through Wednesday 4/11.

ES Daily 4-2 TO 6-29-18...if you recall how to view a chart with a negative slope you will know what is coming.

Here is a chart of the ES for today (Monday 4-23) created last week. A gap up was no surprise.

What if I had presented the previous chart posted for the 30min ES on 4/30 and 5/1 this way:

When you deal with nonlinear data you have to change how you think about a chart or graph.

It's been a good morning. The chart on the right is what can create the inversions in the Q Price Forecast Chart on the left. Once this is understood you pretty much know when turns are going to happen. Are they perfect, no nothing really is but many times they are exact. These are the charts I use, along with their volatility/range charts. These charts are 30min forecast for the ES for yesterday and today. 5/2 5/3

Don't be lulled into thinking the ES is going to sell off more, even if they start out that way Monday morning. We still have a leg up before any significant selling comes in. We should top out into the first or second week of June Afterwards a sell off into the 4th of July week. Afterwards a nice rally into August, followed by another nice sell off into end of September maybe the first week of October. From there a nice rally into the latter part of November. My work is finalized now and I am focusing solely on trading. The Mods can close both threads of Tomorrows Chart Today. I am always open to being contacted.
