Tomorrow will be a BRUTAL day in the market ----> Tomorrow will be a DEAD day market DECAYING DAY RANGE lower NQ chart - day range 13 Sept 2022 - significant day with a very huge day range of 900 points. subsequently, the day range has been relatively small. This Decaying day range pattern happens 70% of the time.
There's no way in the world with this many people bearish (and I mean beyond ET), that these markets will go down. Anyone else besides me happen to notice the Vix barely budged on Friday? And it's up a meager .11% as I type. The markets ALWAYS ignore, no matter how well thought out.... (your) logic. I'm by no means kicking any sand here.... but @KCalhoun.... how'd the ultra VIX etf's (UVXY) play out portfolio-wise on Friday? Weren't you planning on adding 3500 shares? They ran to $11.21 in the first 30minutes, but closed at $10.40, down on the day. That's a 7% haircut fwiw. I hope you didn't hold over the weekend. If anyone here thinks there's such a thing as a free lunch..... you better have some deep pockets. Watch what happens this week.
It's way too early to assess how the market will, generally, move and perform for the next day. You have to establish that hypothesis before the opening bell. Then wait patiently for tells and signs of when to strike, and when to close. Assuming your hypothesis is generally, loosely, correct, you should make money. Of course, though, the devil and God are in the macro and micro details. You should buy a pair of Calico cats. They are good luck, and good fortune, in Japan, Germany and America. Ken Calhoun needs all the luck he can get. He, like most traders, continues to gamble, guess, and lose or gets nowhere overall.
