  6. It's good to see the old tradition surviving. 4 times a year someone always posted a heads up. The dumbasses who don't scalp have no idea how easy it is when you follow every tick to forget about the obvious. I've had it go both ways, but it is kind of weird when you wake up on Thursday morning and wonder, "Where is everybody?"

When I first started trading futures 10 years ago, I didn't know there was a rollover day. The next day, Friday, I thought "what is happening to the volume"? Eventually I figured it out. I still have no idea why it is the Thursday the week prior to the 3rd Friday. WTF. And now, who cares? Just keep clicking the buy or short button like a trained monkey.

Actually I forgot. Here in Arizona we do not have daylight savings time. So we go to west coast time Sunday. The market then opens at 6:30 AM instead of 7:30 AM. I was so caught up in that - I forgot.:p

  10. that's right. I don't trade ES anymore, but I keep it up on my screen. You would think a competent trader would know these things, but even when I was following every tick, everynow and then I would wake up and wonder, "Where did everybody go?"

Laugh if you want, it's just a nice courtesy and kind of an oldtime tradition on ET.

Somebody would always post a heads up on rollout day.

    thanks
