  2. are you serious? is that how you plan to trade? just buy in morning and sell at close? (based on your conviction that there's "no way it's goin' lower")

Lucky for you the obnoxious pit took out the shorts' stops to end the week. Those narrow ranges are torture for tight stops. Maybe we will get a rebound Monday with such a tight day today and the halting of the decline. Wouldn't expect more than a 50% retracement of last down move though. :)

  5. The fact that this week was a bruiser for longs and the fact that today we managed to hold ground from further losses (including triple witching and going into a weekend), I think that, provided nothing extraordinary happens over the weekend, I'm prepared to ride a little longer in a long position.

    Daniel,

No, that's not how I'm going to trade. Do I really look that stupid? No wait please, don't answer that.

Just because I act stupid in public doesn't mean I am stupid in private.

Today was one of the deadest most boring days I can remember in quite a while. You could have flipped a coin at any time to guess which way the market was going to go. I don't think you can attatch much importance to today.

Was this a bullish call (originally) or a bearish call???

LOL...the market will do what it will do, calling tops and bottoms, suckers game...........this string got very quiet all of the sudden.

  9. Well, it's not real money that he's trading. It's part of his learning process. No hard feelings.
