Tommorow's unemployment report (3/7/08)

didn't anybody realize that this news is tradeable when 2 things happen:

a) the entire week saw people anticipating bad payroll numbers

b) bad payroll number come out, BUT unemployment rate (which is the key) is actually dropping 0.1%.

fade ugly numbers.

every month happened like this.

 

NFP number is really bad for next week; unless BOJ cuts its rate fast (somewhere in negative will be good).

 

Bush to open his big mouth on the state of the economy at 2pm. What's he going to say?

 

the last time he opened his mouth about the state of the economy, the market went south
