I did notice that he pushed back his starting date for his new hedge fund from Feburary to March. I wonder how much capital he will have when he gets started again.

Does anyone have specifics on what he is doing right now? Is he just trading his own account or what?

All of Jan. his calls were correct. There are 3 days left in Feb. so I have to give it to him that all of his calls in Feb. were dead on too.
I was gonna wait til Mar. to review the Feb. calls but 3 days early is no big deal.

How could anyone not making money reading him? :)

To all u traders out there that are not doing well, find a way to use this guy with your risk profile and forget the rest of the other worthless sites.

This game is too easy when Todd is around. Hehehe

  3. That's not the issue. I found it instructive and entertaining when he was on RM and you could watch how he traded around a position. For him to say he's long QQQ puts is not adding much.

I'm not knocking the guy. I like him and his insight is useful. And frankly, I never found the detailed trades listed by guys like
tony Saliba on Trading Markets to be very useful. But Toddo's commentary on RM was better than what he's doing now. I don't think anyone disagrees with that.

    AAA,

But I think anyone follow his calls would make money. Especially the futures traders. I dont trade futures but maybe I should learn how given how easy it is to make money when Todd is around.

I was reading from these people saying how hard the market has been and so forth. The reality is, u just have to tag along with the winner. There are the easy way and the hard way to do things, it's your choice. For two months straight of calling the market correctly and people on this site still complaining about how hard it is to make money. Give me a break !!

  5. I think initially you were right. But the past few weeks his writing is back to his old standards.

  6. A few comments on this statement...Part of the reason why Toddo either successfully trades the indicies (or appears to) is because the majority of the time he appears to be scaling into options positions at different stages of each swing. For this reason, he most likely has less directional exposure than someone trading outright futures contracts...

Clearly, in the current environment timing is everything...With very quck, sharp reactions off of different levels, I thing any readers would be very hard pressed to consistently achieve the success that you are attributing to him based solely on his ongoing commentary...You have to understand the ways in which he is most likely scaling his position(i.e 25/50/75% conviction) as he states everyday...An individual who was trading futures, and was not adding to positions via scaling would find himself in initial drawdowns very often, and for most traders that is not something they are comfortable with...So I think we have to look at his commentary with a bit more objectivity

That why I said earlier is that u find a way to include his calls into your risk profiles and go from there. If he's at 25 % bear and u are 100% bear and comfortable with it then that's your style. But where do u find the money to add to your position when he's at 75% bear level?

Any traders out there worth a grain of anything should know to respect risk. He's been all money for me and I hope some of u out there could use him and make some extra cash on the side. I dont' use him for all my trades but he's just one xtra play that I have in my book.

    good luck.

  8. le140,

I agree with you. I don't trade his calls directly, but if I find myself opposed to his posture I definitely rethink my strategy, or if I'm with him I will give a trade a bit more time.

  9. He is dollar for dollar the best info on the web intraday. He tells it like it is and even admitted a f@#k up today which gets even more respect from me. This is what makes him real and not guru-esque . Has anyone noticed a flash Fleck in a random thought a while back that coincided with Fleck's ever decreasing column on RM?

One thing I notice on the day that Todd is 50% bear, Crammer is also recommending a sell to raise some cash. I think that was yesterday. Maybe Crammer is piggy back on to Todd's comments since he cant call his own trades with any accuracy anymore :)

I kind of feel sorry for Crammer if that is the case.
