i bet they'll put out a number that's vague.

there's inflation, but if you take out this and that, there's no inflation.
there's no inflation, but if you include this and that, then there is inflation.

 

Todays number will be benign and the markets will cheer the fed is done.

4.9% yoy PPI
1.9% yoy core

CPI tomorrow will bring out the cave dwellers and conspiracy theorists proclaiming its Germany circa 1923 all over again.
