Here's one way - move the yellow vertical stick from the + to make an 8 out of the 6. [ 8-4=4] 2nd way - move the blue vertical stick on the 6 and make it horizontal on the 2nd 4. [ 5 +4 = 9 ] 3rd way - move green horizontal stick on the 6 and make the 6 a 0 [ 0 + 4 =4 ]
How long did ya'll stare at that? It took me a bit. I didn't have the answer btw when I posted it. The .jpg came up when I was searching for something else, it intrigued me so I cut and pasted it. After I did.... it took a few minutes. My conclusion: There's no 3 number combination of odd numbers that can add up to an even number. Duh on me. Looks like the answer is "no"...It can't be solved. A f'ing IQ test. (I bet Tom McGinness would have got this one pretty quick had he seen it.) Took me a few. And hell.... I might still be wrong. I don't think so though.
