After another gigantic fraud-day like seen today the US marketplace has lost all and any credibility for traders and institutions. I would say the German marketplace is the best one in the world which traders and institutions can trust, because it's not that easy to manipulate.
Agree, when they have to come out and say a "fat finger" caused this meltdown you have to question it.
The views on the last week may differ depending on who made or lost money. German regulators are infamous for dislike of speculators or anyone who wants to improve corporate governance.
