Today In Dishonest Fox News Graphics

  1. fox calls itself fair and balanced. the FB should be changed to Full of Bs.still i can tell some here on et just eat it up:

Fox used a dishonest comparison of two different measures of unemployment to suggest the unemployment rate has nearly doubled since President Obama took office.

During a segment criticizing the Obama administration for its messaging on the economy, a Fox & Friends graphic claimed that the "real unemployment rate" had increased from 7.8% in 2009 to 14.7% now:

Where, indeed? Fox has quite the history when it comes to presenting misleading unemployment data to its viewers:
¡Last December, Fox News presented a distorted chart detailing the monthly unemployment rates during 2011, which had the November unemployment rate of 8.6 percent plotted on the same line as the previous month's 9 percent, and higher than the 8.8 percent rate from March 2011.
¡Earlier in December, Fox aired a misleading graphic announcing the unemployment rate dropping from 9 percent to 8.6 percent by... showing the old 9 percent rate with a red arrow pointing down, without a mention of the then-current rate of 8.6 percent.
¡In June 2010, Fox aired a misleading chart which purported to show "job loss by quarter," but really just picked random months and completely distorted the scale of its chart.

UPDATE: On September 12, Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade said he wanted "to clarify" the graphic displayed the previous day. Co-host Gretchen Carlson then noted that the unemployment rate had not, in fact, increased from 7.8 percent to 14.7 percent during Obama's time in office.

  2. Their base is "low information" voters. We know it, FOX knows it. Say Obama is a Muslim and run some episodes of Family Guy right after.

And the dems base is low IQ welfare recipients. What's a nation to do?

  4. Of course their base is low information, mainly dis-information IMO.

And with FOX Can Lie Lawsuit

    http://foxnewsboycott.com/resources/fox-can-lie-lawsuit/

They feel that it's almost a requirement to lie about everything.

And with Rove doing this shameful stuff. After Cairo and Benghazi Attacks, Conservatives Resurrect Obama ‘Apology Tour’ Lie

    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...vatives-resurrect-obama-apology-tour-lie.html

And we can always see how this filters downstream to Ryan/Romney ticket:

The media coverage of Paul Ryan's speech: 15 euphemisms for 'lying' - Journalists are going to awkward lengths to avoid the L-word when reviewing Ryan's address — even though the veep candidate told several brazen whoppers.

And, the Romney himself: The “first response”that Romney was referring to was not from the Obama administration, and wasn’t actually a response to the violence. It was a statement by the U.S. Embassy in Cairo that was published before the violence began:

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't want too lengthy of a post, so I won't bother trying to list all the made up crap and pure lies made by the Romney campaign. All politico's lie, but never to the extreme as this GOP. So, go ahead all you ABO characters, be proud, so proud of your team.

It's always difficult to acknowledge when FT is correct about anything, but as the only true voice of reason here on ET, I must concur.

Okay, brother Free, back to your usual nonsense.
Thanks for a moment of significance.

While FOX does report some real news, any thinking person understands that FOX is a shill for the Republican party.

Look at those women FOX puts on the air.
That's one of the prime reasons why all the old men watch.
Well, then there's Bill O'reilly, of course, a more moderate commentator who is widely watched.

Then any thinking person should understand that MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, the NY Times, The Huffington Post and all those other left-leaning sites that FT get his cut and paste from are just shills for the Democratic Party.

  9. All nice, except for the nagging little issue of facts. When someone just makes shit up, have their flunkies scream it on talk radio or Fox, then it is disturbing. Then to actually say that they won't be controlled by Fact Checkers, it gets a bit weird.
