I know someone who has worked for both companies in their technology and I can say that title trading has better platform but their charts suck. One of the differences between swift and title is that swift traders use hotkeys, and title has the option of using either or mouse. But truthfully both the company's platforms are not very good. I have traded with title trading's software- but I am fortunate enough to trade with a platform much superior to these two, unfortunately it is not available to the general public. I am not sure what this millenium scanner is, but I use a scanning grid that scans the market and shows the days biggest movers, and is settings can be set to scanning according to a number of different features including, price, liquidity, spread, and scans the market on a second by second basis. The percentage of traders that actually succeed in this business are few and far in between. But working for either of these companies is a good introduction to the market. Another plus for swift is that they also are able to trade commodities and derivatives.

  3. do you have to trade in office to not put up any $$? I am in the US and I don't think either firm has any locations in the US.

I dont think Swift trade has any locations in the US, however, Title trading's head office is now in Carolina. I do believe however there is a prop trading firm called Quest Trade that trades in the US as well as in Canada. And in New-york there is First New York Securities, and Legend Securities. I trade from the office and or from home- but we are a small firm that is just starting- mostly we like to consider ourselves a technology company that trades because we emphasize most of our efforts on facilitating the process of trading through highly competitive technology.

Hmm, well Legend Securities is actually a broker/dealer, I know they have traders on their floor but I am not aware of a website... I would try for First New York or Quest Trade personally...

Well there head office was in Montreal but they recently moved it to Carolina, I cannot remember wether it is north or south... I thought the information would be on there website but it is not... and in Carolina it is simply there corporate head office... there main trading office is still in montreal- if you look at their website though there is a map stating where there are trading facilities...
