  1. Approx. how much/portfolio% will each trade represent?

  2. No set limits, but I'm going to try to practice conservative microcap/smallcap trading (don't want to set a bad example for the kids!). I'll probly be trading 100-200 share lots for quite a while, it's gonna be painful at first, but all for the greater good.

  5. The reason why this endeavor will not succeed (generating you publicity) is the sheer length. 10 years, keep in mind ET is only 8 years old. In ten years nobody will even remember what the purpose of the TIM fund was.

You want to generate excitement and publicity you have to cater to the instant gratification of american consumers.

  6. LOL..LOL..
he should pay us for wasted time.

(Always wondered: Is there a real difference between fishing, and just standing/looking at the water?)

  7. LMAO, these threads are GREAT while waiting for your trade to setup ... don't have to worry about being too distracted or the noise factor.

I'm probably going to look like a chump for backing TIM (argh, acronym city), but if it delivers, the 100 to 1 odds will make me look prescient, so I'll take those odds.

    :p

  8. I agree, maybe you guys should team up and form a hedge fund (and forget the little fish)?

  9. Well said. Since timmay has already used the element of "total embarrassment" aka the begging emails to Traders Monthly to try to garner publicity, he only is left with a few options that will make people notice.

    My suggestions:

    1) stand nude on a street corner and make 100 share penny stock trades on a laptop.

    2) Burst into the next Traders Monthly party, throwing wads of dollar bills around like confetti.

    3) Start a real fight on TV

Anything short of this, and you'll find yourself in your usual position of failure.

    Get a real job!

100 to 200 shares on microcaps? Why would anyone with 9 years experience be trading such puny size? To me it sounds like you're trying to milk this for everything you can. You have virtually no chance to turn $12K into $1.6 million or whatever, especially is you're trading 100 - 200 shares at a time. However I suspect there will be some gullible wannabe traders who will buy your book and follow your trades so you'll reap some financial rewards. By the way, unless your trades are audited they may be suspect as anyone can create a trading log, display it in PDF format and pass it off as legitimate.
