  1. Sykes/Cilantro fund = Less than 1% return since 2003.

Those must be some really wonderful "money making techniques".

P.S.-- Isn't is obvious that the whole freaking website wants you to leave? How could you possibly think this is helping your new snake oil career?

  2. Again, you take the numbers out of context, you really like doing that, huh? As for the whole website wanting me to leave,
I don't think so. By my count, there's about a dozen people not willing to give me a chance-I don't blame them, until October 1 I couldn't discuss the details and now that I can, I still can't trade them. Nov 1, everything changes.

PS If you stop responding to my posts and stop making it worth my while to be here, I'd leave, but as it is, thank you ET, you've introduced me to a bunch of people willing to learn and take a chance on somebody who really wants to cut through all the BS!

  3. Am I to understand that you legally couldn't talk about your trading until Nov 1? Well, this should be easy enough. On behalf of the regular posters in the P/L thread I hereby invite you to post your DAILY trading blotter along with the rest of us. Be nice to see how a real "stock operator" works. See ya there Timothy.

  4. Countdown until Sykes makes up an excuse as to why he can't post in the P/L thread in 3...2...1...

  5. You mean the techniques that caused you to

    1) Lose over half a million dollars trading one penny stock in which you took a ridiculously large position relative to your equity size and then failed to exercise the discipline necessary to take a loss when the trade went against you

    2) lose so much of the hard-earned money of your friends and family that they refused to allow you access to their funds in the future

    3) close your 'hedge fund' after returning a total of 1% in 5 years, thereby failing to match even the performance of a chequing account

    4) give up trading and start selling educational materials

    You mean those techniques?

  6. Mr. Sykes had my review removed on Amazon.

Would you like to buy the wares of such an honest fellow?

  7. Actually it wasn't me--if you read the comment I attached to it, I said I'd leave it up there as a shining example of the kind of reviews I usually ask Amazon to delete. Unfortunately for me, Amazon themselves deleted it and now I'm gonna have to listen to your idiotic bitching and you'll probly just repost it.

FYI Amazon sent me this email today:

    Hello from Amazon.com.

We noticed a review that doesn't follow our guidelines. I've removed these comments, and the review should
    disappear from Amazon.com soon.

We want our review forum to be a place for constructive comments and
feedback that may be useful to other customers. We will remove any
review that falls outside of our guidelines.

I've listed additional information about our review policy and other
    Communities features below.

In case anyone is wondering what the review says, I saved it just to show how ridiculous this guy is:

This author is self-absorbed. To get a better idea about him,
follow this link (below), and see some real comments about the book
and the author. He has a history of using false reviews, and aliases
to bring attention to himself. He has made himself a regular target
on EliteTrader.com with constant spamming, using false aliases to
shill for his book, and has created a very negative opinion in the
minds of others. He also is known to have had some negative reviews
    on Amazon removed.

That's not even close to being a book review! Seriously dude, I've been in contact with some seriously stupid people in my lifetime, but you take the cake, congrats I guess.

Well it may not be a book review, but it's 100% truthful.

LOL, definitely one of the better posts here. Man, if it was not for the entertainment I would definitely not be here at ET and would have become a poker addict by now for sure. Thanks traderNik for saving me...;-)
