Watching Obama defending Timmy today seemed eerily similar to GW's, "heck of a job Brownie" after Katrina.
Timmy's previous job did not deal with Arabian Horses... Plus Timmy inherited the crisis so he is entitled to a honeymoon. I wish Summers was in his place because Geithner at times looks lost.
I'm afraid Timmy doesn't get a pass for "inheriting " the crisis. He played a pivotal role in orchestrating it last year while running the New York Fed. It ain't like he just parachuted in. He's either incompetent or indifferent. Either way, he's gotta' go.
I would tend to AGREE. Right now, I have Timmy 0-2 and he's got one more pitch to make contact on, or else.
Geithner was a terrible choice. He never should have made it past the tax issue. Fire him and put Volcker in there to kick ass.
