Timing Studies

Discussion in 'Technical Analysis' started by Brian Diesel, Jun 9, 2006.

  1. Does anyone use fibonacci timing or some type of timing in there analysis?

I'm looking to learn more on the subject and was wondering if anyone had any insight or opinions about the subject.

    Thanks,

Look under Walther or Walter. He uses some sort of timing

  3. Longer-term time-cycles are more persistent and reliable. I'm really, really hoping that the 4-year cycle culminates to the downside during September or October. Keep an eye on far-out-of-the-money index puts in August. We'll see what happens. Fibbonacci seems too arbitrary because there are too many ratios and multiples to keep track of.
