The only one I have ever heard about is Todd Mitchell's course. Thirty day money back guarantee I believe it was. But the guy who mentioned it here at ET said it was not easy getting his $$$ back... If I remember correctly.
Franz claimed he was trading big size and raking in an average of 146K per day. Turns out, he was trading on a simulator. And he is not really a trader. SCAM ARTIST would be a better description...
I just checked out the website. His guarantee says this: "I Also Offer A No Questions Asked Money Back Guarantee! Satisfaction is guaranteed." That guarantee doesn't say that it is a guarantee to win money. It is a guarantee of SATISFACTION. SATISFACTION defined is as the quality of the video, and the training. NOT PROFITS. His guarantee does not say anything about being profitable or having a PROFITABLE MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. If somebody tries to get their money back after paying(He charges almost 1,000K which is overpriced in the first place). They are just going to be told that they should have tried paper trading first before using real money. They are also going to be The guarantee says nothing about a PROFIT GUARANTEE or losing or profits. THey are are going to be told that you have to lose some day and you can't win them all. Only satisifaction is guaranteed, not a guarantee against losses or a guarantee that you will win. He also has a disclaimer statement on the bottom of his website saying that "DAYTRADING INVOLVES HIGH RISKS AND YOU Can LOSE ALOT OF MONEY". He covers his satisfaction with a RISK DISCLOSURE. His risk disclosure overrides his satisfaction guarantee. Besides, 30 days is not enough time for a person to learn how to trade. One should paper trade at least 3 months(maybe longer) first before trying real money. And it will take more than 30 days to read the multiple books that one needs to read in order just to get down the basics. If this man had a winning system, then he wouldn't need the 1,000.00 that he is trying to get off beginning traders by selling some system that doesn't work. He would have lots of money of his own because of his winning system. Thanks for the info. Any other money back guarantee's anybody know of?
Goodfellow, I will tell you share this with you, if you are interested in Todd's course. I purchased it last summer and decided not to keep it and returned it and got almost all my 1975 back, he took $50 out for shipping which irritated me because I never agreed to paying that on return when I originally purchased it. Before I purchased it I got him to give me 45 days and I returned it just after 30 days for a refund of $1,925. He does seem much more legit than most others selling courses. Dan
I hope you made copies of it before you gave it back. If you did, let's do some some even trades. I have some good trading CD's that get good reviews from traders that I'm willing to do an even exchange. Back onto the topic below: I think a more legit program would offer a 1 week "Pay for profit" group course within a chatroom style setting with lots of other traders or one on one, where a new trader or even advance trader could look at the live charts online and see the trades and make trades along with the mentor. If the trader is profitable and wins money, then he can pay the mentor a percentage of what he wins. A pay for profit mentor would be a good idea. Anybody know of any mentors that offer this?
I think I would like to paper trade it for six months and if I liked it I would pay double. If not I pay nothing. But 1st open up a sim account so I could verify why I liked or disliked it. Russ
about 'making copies', he issues a dire warning which says, something like, you'd better not make copies OR ELSE my money hungry lawyer will be after you and 'ive got ways' to find out'. Not a very friendly way to start a course you just blew a grand on! Also reflects a degree of amatuerishness and unprofessionalism not becoming a 'top' high quality course as so advertised.
I have a copy. It was traded to me. It is verbatium, The Edge, by Rightangletrading. So who's stealing from whom?
