The "edge" used to be free, er, um, that is... anyone willing to go to the site and add \download.htm got the manual for free. it takes some time for these freaks to get it together. anyway, the system sucks donkey balls, perhaps thats why its being given away for free.
The "Edge" is being given away for free? I thought they wanted $299 for it? You have me entirely confused...
I will tell you all one thing: I have been checking out their "free" posted charts and comparing them to mine. On some trades they show as taken and profitable, sometimes only 1 indicator is showing divergence. Sometimes both Stochs and Macd are both showing divergence and they show the trade not taken because it was a loss. Sometimes when there should of been a reversal, they do not show it because the trade turned out to be a loss. If the reversal turns out to be a small loss or a BE trade, they will show it. If the trade turned out to be profitable, they definitely do show that one. From what I can see, there is no rhyme or reason to have the ADX on the chart... They act like they have bad days. But not very often. But they sure show it when they have really good days. All just MHO...
I took the course, was in Franz's room, the whole nine yards. My end result - back to trading on my own after refining a few things. The TI method looks incredible on paper and at the expo's. But, in real time, different story. Example: they placed an ad in Futures magazine recently. The chart was the ES when it was at 1000. If that's the last time they had a great trading day, I'd be cautious.
Do a search on "Franz" and "Traders International". Even with all the threads that were taken down for various reasons (too much dirt slinging, sponsorship issues), the bottom line is the data you need to do your own analysis has been on ET for over 4 years. People have been getting ripped off by the scam operation and reporting it for over 4 years. All the critical thinkers have asked the right questions and every answer always pointed to ====> SCAM for over 4 years. Use the search feature & save yourself some money.
I'm not sure why the Todd Mitchell thread was taken down - yes, it got a little critical, but that's what we're here for right? To insure accountability for vendors who are selling expensive courses but possibly not delivering. For those who ARE interested, I did take the Todd Mitchell course and from my own personal standpoint---no mudslinging, no agenda, no spamming just the facts as I see them---I was not impressed. I feel the rewards gained (1 point on most trades) vs. the risk (2.25 points) is not balanced, nor do I feel confident about the trade set ups, but again, that's based on my own observations. Now to be fair, I would have to say the course is not the worst out there either; it might provide a good foundation for a beginning trader who doesn't want to make real blunders. But I still don't feel the price of 2 thousand dollars is justified when a few good books (High Probabiity Trading, Marcel Link, and even some links on trading dow-emini futures provided by the CBOT's own website can give a pretty good education on futures trading at a significantly lower, if not free price). As it stands, I'm still looking for something better but haven't seen anything that has really piqued my interest. Others may have had better luck with the Mitchell course - I can only speak for myself. If others have had better results, please post accordingly. Chinatrader
<You should consider starting a new thread since this is about Traders International's Method.> You're right. I mentioned the Mitchell course because there was a post about it on this thread which I was adding to. Anyway, I really don't want to start up another thread (since the previous has already been dismantled by Elite), or start a mud slinging contest (which threads can turn into). I'm just trying to help my fellow traders. China
