I submitted a new account application two weeks ago at IB. At the same time, I wired funds for trading. At this point in time, my account is still "under review." I did request trading permissions for everything in the USA (stocks, stock options, futures and futures options, bonds and SSF's.) Is it unusual for IB to take over 10 business days to make a decision on an account application of this nature? I have had three accounts (all closed by me) over the past three years and never had a problem. Is the new accounts department having problems? Any feedback is appreciated.
