This is true for any banks. Lots of people out of the UK had their banks closed down. Now granted, the money wasn't frozen, but you were essentially give a 2 week notice to take all your money out because they were closing your bank account.

There's 2.2+trillion per year in excess govt spending going forward. The 10 year Treasury will probably meet Santelli's expectations if this continues.

Even if you could buy a Santelli top in rates, the govt would buy them back before maturity, perhaps within 3 years. It won't matter whether or not they're assumed to be non-callable. They can do whatever they want. It will be called "special circumstances". Still, it would be a great time to buy and get what you can out of it.

  3. No. Canada has really fallen downhill here.

The difference between having your money frozen, and being given 2 weeks notice that you need to find another bank is the difference between losing your house and being out on the street.

Also in the case of the UK at least one bank exec has lost their job over their discrimination. There seems to have been no one held to account in Canada, which means plan on it happening again.

I don't really think you're trying to make excuses for Canada here, I just think most people seem to understate just how bonkers Canada has become.

Canada basically through insane immigration converted into middle eastern country. Whites are quite a minority in all major cities. They have huge palestinian diaspora so USA might soon need to invade Canada

On the surface, this would seem to be an outrageous charge. A little detail or a link might help me accept it as having a basis in fact. Otherwise I am going to dismiss it as nonsense. Whenever you read something that sounds as though it can't possibly be true, it probably isn't.

They can't. But people acting on behalf of the government might try. They will be subject to challenge.

There can be no question that all of Canada has gone insane! The iron-clad proof of this was recently made clear to me. In July, I was forced to endure a week in Canada. I was staying at the Fairmont, horrible hotel --- Muslims everywhere you looked --- smack dab in the middle of downtown Montreal, a city of a million plus poor starving souls. To give you an idea of just how far Canada has sunk, I did not hear a single car honk or siren the entire time I was there, and not even one incidence of the screeching of brakes or crunching of metal. And where is the trash? It was not to be found. Can you imagine?, millions of sanitation workers apparently unemployed. These things would never happen in a wholesome town like New York City or New Orleans. Please god! Canada needs help!

That would explain all those tents, camels and sand storms in Winnipeg.

Seriously you are a delusional idiot. Amazing how many of you nuts congregate on this "trading" site posting absolute garbage on so many topics.
