Apple's silicon is such a game changer. I bought an iMac just because of it. It's faster than my Dell Precision and makes no noise at all. It's completely silent, because it has no fans. I haven't had so much fun with a computer since I got a Sun Ultra workstation decades ago.

If you want to run multiple monitors you have to investigate what graphical processor your PC/laptop has. Using HDMI connections is better than relying on USB. If the computer has a discrete graphical processor then it comes with its own RAM and does not need the computer's RAM.
