Is there any software out there that does the following: Allows you to set a clock to the local time and then gives you a list of what time it is in all other financial markets -- all being the key here -- around the world and whether they are open or not and when they will close.

Did I miss something on that link? It just shows time zones -- no market opening or closes. There are tons of time zone sites, widgets and whatnot. But I can't find a comprehensive one that focuses just on world financial markets. Like say it is 12:45 P.M. in Sydney now, I would also see that the local ASX and SFFE are open, as well as Wellington N.Z. and various Asian markets, and I would see the local time there and what time they close, and the local time for various not-yet open markets. A comprehensive piece of software, no doubt. But just wondering if by some remote chance ...

No. No chance. You would be the only one who want one. Otherwise it would be available.

Who would trade the entire world?

I have also been looking for something similar, and can't find it. But, this looks promising http://www.qlock.com/pro.html . You can add your own notes to each time zone with the hours of the various exchanges. If you don't want to use monitor space you could use these clocks http://www.officeclocks.com/world-clocks.html with your own custom signs about the market hours. These clocks however, are not synced to the atomic clock.
