Timberwolves Look Tough

  1. No doubt about why Kevin Garnett is MVP, and the fact that Sacramento continues to have no "low-post" presence and continues to play playoff games like a regular season game; no sense of urgency whatsoever.

The Kings made a great comeback last night with Peja hitting all of those threes, but without one or two of them, it's game over for Sacramento. As for Chris Webber . . . he continues to disappear in the low-block and takes 30 foot three's . . . Go figure.

Winning in Sacto ain't easy as the Kings home record states, but the T-Wolves sure have their number!

  2. It's all about heart and toughness. And on that score, the new-look Wolves have a big edge over the talented, but ultimately soft Kings. Indeed, I bet if Spree did his patented strangle move on Webber, rather than fight back, C-Webb would sob harder than Sprewell's daughter did when in the pitbull's death grip.

  3. I was in a sportsbar watching the Sharks vs Avalanche week before last and he said that he had a very good friend of his that painted homes in the Blackhawk section of Danville where Gary Payton and Webber lived at the time, when Webber played for the Golden State Warriors.

Payton's hometown is Oakland. Payton's home in Blackhawk had no furniture, but had 25 cars parked in the garages . . . It was basically a storage facility for his cars.

As for Webber, he would wake-up every morning around 10:30AM and eat a couple of bowls of Cocoa Puffs and then get high. Every morning that the painter was there, this is what he observed. It was his "routine".
