  2. Couple of desk jockeys arguing about what they did during "the war". Yawn, meaningless. Decades old DUI, meaningless. Couch fetish, funny but meaningless. Never really was a hillbilly, meaningless. Team Trump falling into the trap the media is laying out getting mired down in non-issues while another day goes by without debating substantive issues. This is how they buy time for Kamala, each day another day closer to election without her having to do anything but read the teleprompter.

Listen more carefully and follow the time line
    Text of the call
Governor waltz was on the phone and and we
spoke and uh I fully agree with the way
he handled it the last couple of days
( Trump congratulated him for the last couple of days ...after the buildings burned down....Even Waltz said the first couple of days was a complete failure )

im is on the phone now Tim
Waltz again I was very happy with uh the
last couple of days Tim you called up the National Guard

(It took Waltz 3 days to call the guard...Trump wanted it sooner but he did congratulate Waltz for finally calling the guard)

Curious how it was one of Trump's Hell's Angels friends got that fire started at AutoZone in Minneapolis. The "Umbrella Man". You know, the Hells Angels? Who's NY leader was at his NY fraud trial as a show of solidarity?

“In a short time after the front windows are broken out (by a Hell's Angel in disguise) in The AutoZone, looting started,” the affidavit said, noting that the AutoZone store burned down later that day. “This was the first fire that set off a string of fires and looting throughout the precinct and the rest of the city.”

Trump has to go away now. Thankfully that's in hand.

The Harris campaign has altered its biography of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz on its campaign website, making a change to a reference to his military service amid ongoing scrutiny of the 2024 Democratic vice presidential nominee’s military credentials.

Walz’s biography initially said he was a "retired Command Sergeant Major."

It has since been updated to say that he "served as a command sergeant major."

When Walz left the Guard, he had achieved the rank of command sergeant major, but he was reduced in rank months after retiring, leaving him as a master sergeant. National Guard officials have said that he retired before fulfilling requirements for the position, including coursework at the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy. The subsequent lower rank was due to benefit requirements and a technicality.

However, Republicans have accused Walz of engaging in "stolen valor garbage."

Technical politics term is embellished. He certainly carried them in war games many times.

Guard and Navy etc. with their, I nearly coulda been in combat danger, dreams. He did get tinnitus though as an artillery man.

Its not great, it's on the line stuff but that's politics. At least he wasn't accused by family of paying a proxy to take his college entrance exam for him.

And that was when getting in to an elite school was pretty easy if you were rich and white.

But to be fair, Trump hung around to graduate (secret grades) unlike Melania, who disappeared to be a 'model' after Christmas of first year, but still claimed to have the degree. No missing years for Donald.

BTW @Mercor, I am just doing what the right does there. It's strange, but too tenuous, the connection I made between Trump and the angel provocateur.

Until Kamala, there was a tad too much dignity/go high on the left to go as low as Trump with things they know are BS or just smoke, but, are sticking to the wall. All you have to do is recklessly stick to the lie and repeat. Now JD is a sofasexual. Possibly a Republicans for Kamala idea.

Remember how Trump got that story about Cancun Ted's dad and JFK's assassination out? Confirmed in court? So many of these it's hard to remember.

With 90 days to go, if it is a shit flinging contest, the left, centre and Republicans for Harris have mountains of it that they never really exploited. Nobody wants that, but this is where Trump's shitty tactics have got the country.

this is true but I don’t think this election is about policy. It’s about our country’s culture and definition of democracy. And the stances of both candidates is well understood.

It is. But as evidenced by his selection as VP.... because you know damn well they knew about it... it has become a right of passage. Thankfully... any halfway decent car now has an idiot light for "right tail-light out." (OT: And who is GM's bulb supplier anyway?! You don't get that bs on a TM made vehicle.)
