Steve 46 wrote, We can make this personal if you want. Have you quit drinking yet? You have maintained your temper so far, but I would bet I can get the real Mr. Gilmore to show up whenever I wish. My suggestion sir, is that you take care. As regards your reputation here, you have very few chips left to spend. ___________________________________________________ Steve 46, Look above and see who the HYPOCRITE really is. Guess it is not me. You try to be serious but you fall down a hole each time you open your mouth without engaging a clear thought. BBG
Ah, so we have a little flare of anger do we? My comments are quite clear. My questions very straightforward. Your claims as regards references are comical. Anyone can make up references. I remember a time when Steve Rifkin was one of your favorites. You used to suggest to all who might listen that we should simply take a trial of your inflated chatroom so that we could learn at the feet of Mr. Rifkin. After listening to Mr. Rifkin (your protege) telling his "students" to "fuck off" one can't help but think that he learned his teaching "technique" from you. I personally think that what these poor people are complaining to Steve Rifkin about is precisely what I am commenting on right now. No edge. No concept. Pure hype. Pure crap. Steve
NEWBIES to this thread. SEE WHAT YOU ARE UP AGAINST I have been in here 5 minutes and a ghost from the past is still trying to get even with me because I broke all the rules on my last visit. Further more he is not even prepared to demonstrate any of his entry points (good or bad). Now why is that so hard for someone to do? I have been in this business over 25 years and it still remains the same today. Everywhere you go you find selfish people who think they know more than everybody else but they just try and create smoke screens to bamboosal the new comer. Go back to the beginning of this thread which started in November of 2004 and read it from the beginning - there are plenty of laughs for you and plenty of information. Most of which I provided free of charge. You judge for yourself you are the genuine people posting in here. BBG

Yes Bryce, you are the master of the smokescreen. Unfortunately we all have access to the recording of your protege Rifkin. And regrettably you go back to that old saw about entries. Really it is ironic old man, because I have never been better equipped to demonstrate. It is fun for me. Once again I point out the obvious. I can demonstrate entries and exits all day long. All that counts for the newbie is whether THEY can duplicate that result. Another smokescreen, bravo. I have to say, that I am impressed with the way that both veteran ET members and newbies alike have approached the last scam artist (TI/Franz Shoar). I am going to bet that these same folks will take a moment to visit us during this weekend and into the next week and I assure you they will be less gentle than I. I am really looking foward to the next few days. All the best Steve
Nothing would please me more Steve46 as I am just waiting for them to come along. Then I will turn them upside down. I don't know who you are talking FRANZ who? about but I will look into it. BBG
Steve 46, I have to tell you this in all honesty, I was in the shower getting ready to go out tonite to the casino for dinner and a play (It is Saturday evening my time right now) and I BURST OUT LAUGHING AT YOUR POSTS. My girlfriend said to me what are you laughing about? I replied to her well there is this guy Steve46 on elite traders who has been fencing with me on and off all afternoon and I thought to myself that he must be promoting himself as a system trader. His system is a standard deviation system and I laughed because if he took it down to the S&P pit and explained it to anyone who was a big trader ... They would laugh him right out of the joint. ))) BBG
I love a good joke Bryce, and I look forward to laughing at one with you soon. Somehow we went from discussing the fact that your charts are for shit, to suggesting that I trade a linear regression channel. How did that happen. Do you think that your comment changes the fact that your chart didnt show the proper retracement point? Does your comment change the fact that you want to sell others your crappy charts and system for $2,000. I don't think so. You're an older guy, slightly paunchy and with a strange sense of humor. If your girlfriend is laughing, I would suggest you look down, as it may be another of your "shortcomings" that is amusing to her. Would you like to keep playing old man? I am having a wonderful time. Steve by the way Bryce, its only called "fencing" if the other guy has a sword.
Before you guys beat up on Bryce and lump him in as "just another vendor", you should at least understand his body of work. Unlike TI who operate as a pure advertise & scam vendor (i.e. expensive ads in trading magazines, expo booths, share no real info about the subjective method, use extremely simplistic approach, have no credible references, lots of complaints from ripped off students), Bryce falls into a different category. Bryce has a body of work, he has done a ton of seminars, he has references, reviews, & interviews from many other top or well-known traders. He's been around "in the business" for a long time and the # of negative reviews, proclamations of "yet another guru scam", BBB or CFTC or similar complaints, etc. do not exist as far as I can tell. Bryce has had many typical "anti-guru detractors" on various message boards and mailing lists (including Usenet) over the years, so if you want to go back the last 15 or so years, there is plenty of material out there. Now... whether this methods are profitable, whether you believe in market geometry, whether there is other value in his trading course/mentorship style -- these questions you will unlikely have answered here due to subjectivity & complexity of the data vs. what TI/Franz were selling. While I make no judgement either way (an exercise I leave up to the reader), I want to bring to your attention this major differentiation between TI/Franz and Bryce. A very important disctiontion is that you can review Bryce's body of work. You can read reviews about his body of work. You should be able to find copies from others to borrow on various forums as they have been around awhile, traders library for rent/exchange, or purchase on various used book marketplaces. Some are even available for free. Here's a list which I believe to be accurate: Introduction to the Methods of W D Gann (free intro, Google for it) Geometry of Markets (1989, one copy of original hardcover on Amazon for $37 used, paperback is $56 from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0934380554/googleadwo095-20/ ,AOIIYKHTD) Geometry of Markets II (1993, out of print, $165 from Bryce's website, used on Amazon for $199, AOIIYKHTD) Dynamic Time and Price Analysis of Market Trends (1998, $250 from Bryce's website, AOIIYKHTD) Trading with an Edge (2001, $400 from Bryce's website) Trading to WIN (2002?, $400 from Bryce's website) Cycle Trader 2000 Software (2000, original version came out in 1993, now part of the Wave Trader software, AOIIYKHTD) Wave Trader 2004 Software (2004, $2000 standalone EOD version, $1400 for e-signal intraday version, original version out in 1986) AOIIYKHTD = available on internet if you know how to download
