Seemed to make a BIG difference a few days ago. What happened to the challenge? You make yourself out to be a guru.

Why don't you make some calls here on ET?

I would BSAM if I thought imbeciles like you would understand them and stop talking shit all day.

But I will leave you with a tip that might help you.

Don't slam the doors on your car it is bad for the locks.

Also this won't mean anything to you or anyone else in here for that matter but the S&P goes 100% of Time on Monday from March 2000 high to Oct 2002 low and it will probably end this uptrend for a little bit.

But when I come back from my week away I will know if it did or not by then and proceed as usual.

Just think I will be away from my screens in the Sun drinking beers and spending some quality time in the fresh air on my boat.

I do it one week a month while dickheads continue to frazzle their minds without a break.

You can't work this business at my pace everyday without a break.

By the time I come back Scientist will be worn out with the pace he keeps up and he will need a week off.

I might just put the contest in here if I am still a member as this site moves quickly and everything is time stamped. I'll just reset my time zone to New York in ET.

That would really fuck your minds wouldn't it.

    :))))

  6. Perhaps you missed my point. I hardly expected that you would go from $10,000 to almost $41 million in a single year, but the performance numbers you suggested makes this "possible." So, let us downgrade the numbers somewhat to make it more plausible, shall we? Surely your account balance at the beginning of the year was well in excess of $10,000. Further, if you made even a fraction of the returns you say you normally make, then you almost certainly made several million dollars this year. No?

You say that compounding does not work because of liquidity? As I understand it, you scalp, swing trade and position trade numerous high-liquidity instruments around the globe. Surely liquidity is not an issue at the several million dollar level. As I had mentioned to you in a prior post in another thread, these liquidity issues did not seem to impede the likes of George Soros or Paul Tudor Jones, to name but a few. Of course, their percentage returns are not anywhere close to what you claim to generate. And yet, both of these gentlemen are considered to be world-class traders. By your own account, your relative performance leaves them in the dust.

To conclude, I do agree with you that one of us lives in "cloud-cuckoo-land" as you so eloquently put it.

  7. "Stop hurling your insults like a dope fiend who can't get his fix. Put up or shut up."

You might get your chance to see how it is done.

A trader who can consistently make money with little or no drawdown and choose when and when not to be in the market.

That is the way to do it you know.

You want to make a million just increase your size. Want to make $20k a month without a heart attack well it is possible off a $20k account some months.

You just cannot hold overnight if you want to contain risk.

Anyway I don't know why I should be telling you with all your mental problems you will never be able to do it.

You, DAAADOOO and where did he go PPP and then Lefty the optimiser of past history must really wonder what this business is all about.

    Then one other thing:_
I don't claim to be a guru - I take pride in slipping the needle into people who do that.

But I do defend my position and I am happy to give a demonstration. The point is not if Scientist gets luckier than me or not everyone wins.

If you can't see it then go and join daadoo and Pedro.

Did I every tell you about Pedro?

Pedro is (well he told me) an heir to $20 mil and he was working in London as a Cameramans assistant. His father was a car dealer in Zimbabwe or somewhere and died.

Pedro went and bought all sorts of stuff from everywhere in the past 5 years or so and all of a sudden two years ago he reckons he knew everything.

So the imbecile gets on the internet and starts abusing everyone (and you will know what I mean because this is the world of fools you are used to).

He terrorised my friend Larry Pesavento so badly that Larry was frightened by him.

So when he decided to annoy me I just kicked the footy back at him and it blew up into a real on going saga. One week Perdro would be sane and the next he would be SKITZO. The guy is a fruit cake.

So for years PEDRO has been trying to get some recognition in life as he feels he has none. But you only have to read his mail and you can tell he is a nut case who (in Scientists words) needs to be stamped FOOL and locked up permanently.

The truth is tho that probably 10% of people in ET should be given the same treatment.

I'll do what I will do when it suits me BSAM.

  8. "As I had mentioned to you in a prior post in another thread, these liquidity issues did not seem to impede the likes of George Soros or Paul Tudor Jones, to name but a few."

Soros made a billion on the British Pound years ago - did you know he was 1/2 a billion underwater before it all turned around for him.

Soros had a fund that closed down some years ago after a $6 billion or so drawdown.

Soros made $750 million in the past year from fees and his funds are not even returning investors 10%

Now I won't go into Tudor Jones because he is a guy I respect.

Blah, blah, blah. Dispense with your condescending innuendo and make some calls. Actually, I'm betting you can make some good calls. It's just your presentation that is pathetic. Again, put up or STFU!

  10. Your comments, while interesting and entertaining, are not salient to the issue at hand, specifically the one regarding liquidity constraints. As an aside, I am not familiar with Mr. Soros' recent performance. However, if he can make so much money when his relative performance is evidently so much weaker than Scientist's, then one would think that Scientist should devote his time to starting and managing a fund rather than dealing with the morass of nay sayers (like me) in these forums. I know that's what I would do if I were that good.
