Nice analysis Scat. Where I live bowling was/is huge but is one sport I could never get a hang of, and really ticked me off. Golf for me was a matter of focus. As long as I stayed focus I played fairly well for a hacker. I could go out and win bets, but when nothing was on the line, my mind would wonder, and the results reflected that wondering. I think in large part Tiger has lost his focus. Too much has happened and until he puts it behind him he is screwed. Whether he goes back to his previous ways, or turns his personal life around and commits to it he will get back to where he was, but there is a chance that if he takes to long to get there it will be too late. I have thought about getting back to golf, and maybe trying to get up to speed to try and jump on the old folks tour, but I still haven't figured out where i have the time to do it.
He gagged a 6-footer against Watney on the 18th yesterday. His post-match interview comment was, "I was pushing my putts all day"... If his brain were in gear he'd virtually NEVER "push/pull" a putt. He should wise up and pay me a couple of $Million to straighten out his putting. I know... he's a smart guy, famous, rich... etc.... and "who the Hell am I?"... But he putts like he has his head up his butt!! I'm not posting this because I'm "anti-Tiger". Quite the opposite. I'm a big-time sports guy and I like to see records broken. I WANT Tiger to "win everything in sight"... my pleasure would be that I saw it happen. I watched Cassius Clay win all of his bouts in the 1960 Olympics when I was just a kid. Then, I saw ALL of his broadcast fights I used to wake up and go to the sports box scores first thing just to find out how many points Gretzky had scored... I watched day-by-day to see if "The Ice Man" or David Thompson would win the NBA scoring title.
PGA tour. The remaining 16 players include seven Americans, seven Europeans, one Asian and an Australian. the Tiger has no Wood. ................................................. Tiger Woods crashed into a fire hydrant and a tree. He couldnât decide between the iron or the wood. Tigerâs last outing.... He drove into a tree, then ended up with a bad lie. cheers, s
