On the SC forum, they explicitly stated that CQG and Rithmic will no longer work with SC. So is CQG working or not working? Or have they left the backdoor open solely for AMP clients?

As long as you subscribe to SierraChart service package 10, 11, or 12, CQG, Rithmic, IQF, IB, and others data feed work just fine.
This has nothing to do with AMP.

  6. I like the number 4, it's probably one of my favorite numbers, if not the most favorite. It just resonates with me positive vibes, energy.

According to Chinese astrology....my lucky numbers are 3, 4, 9....but I like 4 the most.
And my lucky colors are Red, Green and Purple. I'm rather indifferent or could care less, though, about lucky colors. I am partial to Orange, though.

    My favorite color is Burgundy.
It took me 10 days to read the Evelyn Wood 7 Day Speed Reading Course.
I am a Pig in the Chinese zodiac.
In the West, I identify as a fallopian!

Just throwing this out there as part of **MY** 4th Quarter Living trade plan...

Many folks here focus on catching the tick of some perceived "top" or "bottom",
or some arbitrary or perceived dollar figure regardless of what is being offered. I say try something else.

I started October with a 100 tick minimum daily goal. Pretty lame. LOL. Obviously with the current daily travel ranges in many instruments, this is realistic. One could argue it's realistic regardless of the travel ranges, but that's a different topic. 1 contract or 100 contracts. 1 trade or 100 trades. 10 ticks, 20 ticks, 100 ticks, 1000 ticks. Whatever you're comfortable with is what matters. Calculate it per contract, aggregate contracts, or whatever. Whatever fits you and your choice of instrument.

For me, combined with my daily challenge goal of capturing at least 100% of the linear HL daily range, it's a pretty nifty combo that's available (and different) on all instruments, every single day!

Before anyone asks, NO, I do not normally capture 100% or more of the daily linear HL range. That's a challenge for me. It's a long-term running goal!

Stop focusing on money. Trade well, and money takes care of itself!

Of course, if you are more interested in swing trading or managing "investments", you and I are on different paths. Neither being right or wrong, just different.

Here are MES stats for October.
For the most part, I don't trade ES or micros of any index.
I did however take trades in MES, 12 days during the month.

The data is expressed in TICKS, not points, not currency. Ticks.
A total NET 679 ticks in those 12 days.

I did not reach the lame 100 tick goal each day in MES.

If this was all I traded I'd be in the streets!

    Hi. Goodnight everybody.

    Happy Halloween!!

Hershey disciples might recall the "Modrian" tables...
To the best of my knowledge, "Modrian" tables is a made up term.

There is however a deceased modernist artist named Piet "Mondrian".
It is easy to see the "Mondrian" inspiration in the Hershey "Modrian" tables.

This article caught my eye yesterday and made me laugh... Maybe it's a missing puzzle piece!

Another Hershey depiction in a similar vein is the "Jokari" window.
This term however, Jack stated was intentional for search and tracking purposes.
The correct term is "Johari" window.
