Does anyone know the symbol for TRIN and TICK in TWS?
also spx and djia, I never bothered to figure out if you can set them up on tws.
how bout nyse and nasdq comp?
NDX works for the NAS 100.
that is all I have figured out!
No TRIN, TICK, or other statistics pseudo-symbols. IB does not attempt to be a quote service, and generally provides quotes for traded products only. There are some exceptions, like providing indexes on which you can trade derivative products, like NDX, SPX, and INDU. NYSE composite is NYA. See http://www.interactivebrokers.com/html/retailAccount/products.html and click on the second column to see lists of symbols for each exchange.
Also, might I suggest that you search for answers here on ET and the IB message board (http://www.interactivebrokers.com/cgi-bin/discus/discus.pl) - both have a great deal of good info about IB. (TRIN/TICK is a very FAQ).
Separate names with a comma.
