I'm not sure which director. I didn't ask, but you're right, only one of them's in London right now.

Should get a call this evening when the markets close.

FTD? The only FTD I can find is a floral trading company, abbreviation for a structured credit product and the more street-talk, 'First to die'! -_-

Googling 'FTD tibra' helps even less, to be honest.

Okay, honestly can't really figure it out. Have even called the HR and they don't know. :|

The internet is no help as well.

    Yeah google won't work.

Don't worry, it definitely won't be mentioned in the interview. It was my little personaly joke.

If you get the job though, when you start, ask them what it stands for.

I guess my only hint is that the directors and orginal traders used to work at optiver and imc.

    Good luck!

If you ever work at IMC or OPTIVER, not only will you know what FTD means, you it will flood through your veins and inspire you to tattoo that on your forehead.

FTD just stands for Fred, Tim and Danny, the guys who started the Tibra Group...it was a temporary name for the holding company while every thing was set up...
