OK guys, let's get serious here!

What's the chance that Hillary is the one "inspiring" Rev Wright to speak up and keep at it through the summer?

Nahhh... She wouldn't do that, never!! Would she ??? :)

There is a claim that a Clinton supporter arranged the Press Club event that Wright spoke at yesterday. And then there is a claim that it wasn't a Clinton supporter. Who knows? But if I was Hillary I would be trying to get every radical ever associated with Obama in front of microphones.

    Well, Another CT

IMAO: "Do you think Jeremiah Wright hates America? Before you answer too quickly, think about it. Now, what he says makes it sound like he hates America, but what about his actions? The way he's going around right now spouting crazy stuff makes it seem like he's dead set on sinking the Obama candidacy, and is there a better way than that to show your love of America?"

    Rev Wright Again

IMAO: "I think I know what's up with Jeremiah Wright: He's not a very good preacher.

Yeah, I know; shocking conclusion. But if you listen to his sermons, basically he's just randomly throwing stuff out there without even thinking about it probably because he has time to fill. He'll write a sermon about sharing, find three supporting quotes in the Bible, then get through all of that and realize he's only been talking for three minutes. So he'll suddenly shout, "AMERICA is just... like Al AQAEDA, but under a different... color... FLAAAG! Because of... STUFF... and THINGS!"

Then later he'll try to justify what he said, but he probably can't even remember what it was. All the controversial stuff is just mindless padding. Like he had one sermon where he said, "The military... does not make WAR for... PEACE! That's like RAPING... for VIRGINITY!" It's something that could sound profound if you don't spend a moment's thought about it. I'd like to ask him, "Well, most people know how you make war for peace -- we fought WWII and subsequently got peace -- but could you please explain to me how you rape for virginity?"

He'd probably just respond, "Shut up, cracker!" which, admittedly, is a pretty good response.

Now Wright just spoke at the NAACP saying that black and whites have genetically different brains. He based this scientific conclusion on the fact that he lost the note cards for his speech and this was the first thing that popped into his head when he started talking. So now Wright is sounding like a white racist from a hundred years ago, and you really have to wonder why Obama sought this guy out to be his surrogate father. Maybe Obama just had nothing to do one day and said to himself, "Know what would be neat? A wacky racist preacher to be my spiritual mentor!"

That's trouble. See, when I get bored, I play videogames. I pay sixty bucks a year to subscribe to Gametap where there's like hundreds of games to choose from. Because of that, I never once felt the urge to seek out a racist preacher. Gametap should use that as a slogan: "With over a thousand games to choose from, there's no need for a racist surrogate father!""

So Wright quoted himself out of context and looped himself in a speech at the Press Club? He only said a tiny portion of the things he said? Geez, even Rev. Wright is out to get Rev. Wright. ;)

The really funny part is how he just hung all the people who supported him out to dry. Newpaper editors from coast to coast went out on a limb to say he wasn't a radical and it was just The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy(tm) taking a minute bit of his comments out of context and looping them.

Kinda like how Obama threw his grandma under the bus. He has learned well from his master.

Barack Obama is now officially in damge control mode as the black Archie Bunker preacher that Obama threw his grandma under the bus for, now has thrown Barack under that same bus and driven over both of them.

But dispaying his inability to think on his feet, Obama makes this bizarre statement about his twenty year mentor:

Now how exactly would Barack Obama know those statements "do not portray accurately the perspective of the black church"? He has only ever attended Rev. Wright's church, and it is filled with hate-filled racists that cheer on Wright with his racism and hate. He goes on to say:

Well welcome to the club Barack! What took ya so long?

Indeed, what is so different today from a year ago? Or two years ago? Or five years ago? Or ten years ago? Rev. Wright has been a hate-filled racist for many years. When it was politically advantageous to sit in the pews and cheer Rev. Wright, Barack had no problem doing that. But now that the "good" Reverend is an anchor to Barack's political asperations, Obama now finally has seen the light. I think Wright is the more honest of the two men. Ay least he wears his views on his sleeve. Obama is simply an opportunist. Unfortunately for Barack opportunity has knocked the door down and is demolishing the house...

That is a great point. The media and many Democrats attempted to cover for Obama by defending Rev. Wright. Now the "good" reverend has just spit in all of their faces. But it is not just Wright, but the whole Black Liberation Theology movement. How will they respond to Barack Obama and the liberal media establishment that now disses Rev. Wright? What great political drama this is... [IMG]

  8. Don't tell me the media couldn't do the same thing with William Ayers, former terrorist and longtime Obama backer. Ayers is a rotten brat son of the former CEO of Con Ed. Do you think if daddy had been a Chicago policeman or bus driver he would have skated so easily? Or became a famous professor at the U of Ill? Or his wife, Bernadeine Dorn, who is a law professor at the formerly presitigious Northwestern Law school?

Neither Ayers nor his wife have ever apologized for their terrorism, which included multiple bombings. Ayers said he regretted not doing more.

Obama's explanations for these types of associates are getting increasingly disingenuous. He described ayers as a guy who lived in his neighborhood. He dismissed his terrorism as something that happened years ago, as though the people they bombed are ok with it and only a crank would hold a grudge. Ifyou're an aspiring politician and Hitler lives in your neighborhood, would you allow him to hold a fundraiser for you? If you do, don't complain about guilt by association. At the time, he clearly didn't think Ayers' blessing was a problem. Indeed, he must have sought it.

I have read that for many years, including when Barack Obama came on the Chicago political scene, it was necessary for aspiring young, liberal politicos in Chicago to go kiss the ring of William Ayers. Apparently Barack Obama did just this, and that was when their friendship began.

  10. I think it's been established quite well that the participants in this thread see Barack as the Antichrist...which I find laughable given his Democratic nominee opponent. Be that as it may...

My question is who do you nutholes think wins?

    Hilary ((shudder)) v McCain ((shudder))
    or
    Usama ((shudder)) v McCain ((shudder))
