He has already admitted that he would not pull the troops. The initial claim by him that he would have all troops out in 16 months was a lie which he has flip flopped on at least twice - both are documented in this thread. And he did not say he would divert money to save NASA - he only said he would take money from its budget and in effect kill it.
McCain has some serious issues related to his being tortured in Vietnam. He has never been able to walk the same and cant raise his arms above his head from the abuse they put on him.He is a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off I have seen countless statements from him over the years regarding possible US conflicts, and every time his comments threaten aggressive military action He has threatened and made aggressive statements towards China,Russia,Iran and Korea.aggressive people get even more aggressive as they get older.in many interviews you can that he wants to explode and is trying his best control himself. As president there will be nothing to hold him back.God help the US and the world
McCain was was brought up on the second post of this thread, and many times after McCain and Hilary will come up in Obama threads, learn to live with it
If you want to discuss McCain in relation to Obama, fine. But if you want to argue specifically over McCain please start another thread.
. . . If you only ever read one article in this thread read this one. It is a thoughtful synopsis of Barack Obama and reveals something very evil about Obama that I did not know until now - he favors infanticide. No not just abortion, and not even just partial birth abortion, but the killing of born, living and viable human beings. And not even by lethal injection or other execution methods that are often called inhumane by liberals. He favors that unwanted and fully born, viable human babies be left to die of exposure and dehydration. In other words, he favors a slow and tortuous death for those he deems to be disposable. Barack Obama is a vile and evil person. His facade is being pealed back like an onion. And the truth is not pretty - indeed, it is very, very ugly. He is a racist, a marxist and has no compassion for even the most helpless human beings - newborns. How can anyone who is not equally vile and evil support this man? When Will We Admit the Truth About Barack Obama? http://www.americanthinker.com/prin...m/2008/04/when_will_we_admit_the_truth_a.html
Barry Hussein Obama is the gift that keeps on giving. Christ, don't the demorats vet these candidates? I guess that would have been a terrible display of racism if they dug too deeply into the Obamessiah's background. When you have people fainting at his rallies, it's tough to say "But this guy has so many problems there's no way he can win the general election." I wonder what great stuff McCain's team has discovered. Time to enjoy the campaign before one of these nutjobs wins the Whitehouse and dares Congress to spend more than they do.
On the other hand, we (McCain's supporters) should all want to get Obama in the fall, as he is the most vulnerable of the two. In that spirit, the following looks reasonable to me - see if you like it: ---------------- NO KNOCKOUT; OBAMA WILL WIN ON POINTS By DICK MORRIS - Published on the TheHill.com on April 23, 2008. Sports metaphors are trite and too male-oriented, but sometimes they are so apt they are unavoidable. The Clinton-Obama contest is like a 15-round heavyweight title bout in boxing. Hillary went for an early knockout. All previous Democratic races since 1960 have been decided that way, with one candidate winning decisive primaries, forcing his opponents to withdraw. But Obama beat her to the punch in Iowa, survived a loss in New Hampshire, and countered her sweep of New York, New Jersey and California on Super Tuesday by winning a large number of smaller states, largely by out-organizing Hillary in caucus states. While most traditional candidates are forced out if they lose key states because their money dries up, Obamaâs ingenious use of Internet funding provided him with an ample financial base even as he fell behind Hillary in the delegate count. But Hillary, in spending all her resources on an early Super Tuesday knockout, was too depleted to do well in the middle rounds â the February caucus and primary states. Her focus on an early knockout led her to neglect organizing in these states, and her insistence on spending every dime she had in pursuit of an early win left her financially incapable of competing in these February contests. Obama won round after round on points, sweeping 11 states in a row and establishing a solid lead in elected delegates. Obama piled up such a lead in points in the middle rounds that Hillary has been forced to go for a knockout in the final rounds. Knowing that Obama has more delegates, she has to win decisively in the late primaries to have a chance at persuading the superdelegates to flip and abandon the votersâ choice. But, so far, the proportional representation rules and Obamaâs daunting financial advantage have denied her the elusive knockout. Obama canât knock her out, but he doesnât need to. Remember, heâs ahead on points. Hillary won in Pennsylvania for two key reasons: 1. Pennsylvania only permits Democrats to vote in its primary. Hillary has always won among Democrats. It is among independents, the swing voters in November, that Obama has manifested his greatest strength. 2. Pennsylvania is the second oldest state in the nation after Florida. But while the elderly moved to Florida, Pennsylvania acquired its status by having its young people move out. The result is a demographically atypical electorate. Both Indiana and North Carolina, the next two states, allow independents to vote in Democratic primaries, and North Carolina has a decidedly young population (it is here that the Pennsylvanian youths moved!). Obama should win both of these states, North Carolina by a lot, Indiana by a little, and their combined effect should wipe out most of the gains Hillary got from her Pennsylvania win. By the time the voting ends on June 3, Obama will still lead Hillary among elected delegates by 100 to 150 delegates. At that point, the Gang of Four â Gore, Edwards, Pelosi and Dean â will probably call on the superdelegates to make commitments in the next 10 days so that the race can draw to a close and the party can have its nominee. Shortly thereafter, Obama will be able to claim that he is above 2,025, the threshold for victory. And the ref will be raising his arm in triumph.
Barack Obama just can't stop surrounding himself with radicals. Now it is Obama's nuclear advisor Joseph Cirincione that steps into the spotlight displaying his Bush Derangement Syndrome, dismissing the Israeli attack on a nuclear site in Syria as "nonsense" even before all of the evidence had been presented. Well surprise, surprise, there is now video evidence that provides strong evidence that the Israelis were correct and that Cirincione was the one who was filled with "nonsense". It is scary to think that this man might be a major intelligence advisor in a Barack Obama administration. Obamaâs Radioactive Potato http://www.commentarymagazine.com/blogs/index.php/schoenfeld/3547
And even more shady characters keep popping their heads up. A known terrorist fundraiser is now also a fundraiser for - guess who? Yep it seems that there is no limit to the amount of radicals Barack Obama is associated with. He even gets his own page on Obama's official website.
