Three California cities require the highest salaries in the US to afford a home

  2. If the average income of SF, LA and DanDiego are same and average rent of SF is higher than LA, then SF pays more to the sleeping expense.

    I heard most country pay between 20% and 40% out of their income. OECD average is 22%

    Possibly SF people pays 40% to the rent while LA pays 30% (out of their income)

    Note that even owner of his house pays same rent (as a hidden opportunity cost) as next door paying cash rent.

  5. In case the average income of Silicon Valley is 50% more than that of LA, then I agree that average home price of Silicon Valley is also 50% more than LA.
     
  6. Yep! Liberals flushed into the ocean. All those giant companies like facebook and google will drop to $0 on the stock market overnight while other companies pick up the slack. Trillions of dollars will trade hands that day. New catch phrases will occur. Instead of people saying "Google it" They will say "Duck duck go it!"
