Thoughts on tonight's G20 meeting?

  1. It's even worst then that for Donny the clown, china told him to cave on huawei or ells there will be no talks... He caved, after Pompeo did the world tour in 2018 threatening every country if they did business with huawei, US wouldn't share intel with them... That guy is one messed up dude, US is losing major clout, another 4 years of him and only ally left will be Canada

The more interesting element was the next comment from the President.

One of the things I will allow, however, is, a lot of people are surprised we send and we sell to Huawei a tremendous amount of product that goes into the various things that they make. And I said that that’s okay, that we will keep selling that product. These are American companies… that make product and that’s very complex, by the way, and highly scientific. And in some cases we’re the ones that do it, we’re the only ones that do it. What we’ve done in Silicon Valley is incredible, actually and nobody has been able to compete with it, and I’ve agreed and pretty easily, I’ve agreed to allow them to continue to sell that product. So American companies will continue and they were having a problem, the companies were not exactly happy that they couldn’t sell because they had nothing to do with whatever it was potentially happening with respect to Huawei, so I did do that.

Career suicide... Even Rubio is shitting on him, he's gonna go on epic EPIC rant when he did all that, and offshore repo still snaps in months causing global banking crisis x2 of 2008. They are gonna shit on him when he gets back... I think he really believes the media hype about china collapsing and global recession being caused by a few billions in tariff ?

  3. In exchange for his Huawei concession, Trump said Xi Jinping had promised to buy “tremendous” amounts of U.S. agricultural products. “We’re going to give them a list of things we’d like them to buy,” Trump said at a news conference following the Group of 20 summit in Osaka, Japan. However, as Bloomberg notes, the first indications the second fragile truce will collapse soon is that the Chinese official media reports said only that the U.S. president hopes China will import more American goods as part of the truce, without an actual confirmation it will do so.

Because, as Bloomberg notes, it’s unclear how they can overcome differences that led to the collapse of a previous truce reached at the G-20 in November.

While Trump and Xi were all smiles at their press briefing, the bad blood between the two leaders behind the scenes is clearly still there. Xi spent much of the summit’s first day Friday promising to open up the Chinese economy, and attacking the U.S. (without naming it) for its attack on the global trading system. As Bloomberg reported, Xi took a "not-so-subtle swipe" at Trump’s “America first” trade policy in remarks to African leaders on Friday, warning against “bullying practices” and adding that “any attempt to put one’s own interests first and undermine others’ will not win any popularity.” Xi also called out the U.S. over Huawei and said the G-20 should uphold the “completeness and vitality of global supply chains.”

Andddd then he lies about some soybean purchases that china never agreed and can't on a big scale even if it wanted to, CAVES hard on huawei when Pentagon/CIA clearly told him huawei works with the chinese military hand in hand and we will likely be at war with china down the road... You couldn't even make it up if you wanted to, I quote : Trump makes Bush Jr look like Babe Ruth

He would have huawei set up shop in DC if he thinks the DOW would gain 3,000 from it

  4. A cynical person might think that they changed the threshold from $500 to $400 because it looks better. Maybe 20+% more people can afford $499. But FED bean counters would never do that.

The public is delusional. Zero fiscal restraint.

Taking on of my pups to Klaich Animal Hospital and a woman is crying that she can't afford an $800 vet bill... walks out and into a new Benz E400 ($60K?).

At a dinner party down the street. Family has $200K in cars in the garage and has loan docs from "Upgrade" sitting out on the counter. It's a subprime lender.

ONNTSA. (Oh No Not This Shit Again).

We've been hearing the warning cries for over a year now on the possible subprime crisis developing in the auto-lending field. Think it will have an impact as rough as 2008's housing issues? I reckon' it won't, but there could be pain.

As far as the G20, I'm getting long in NQ at 6PM as best I can, for RTH tomorrow *should* end higher than the RTH open.

2 weeks ago my 14yo cat had issues. Other than as a kitten, never been to a vet. Took him to the local vet where my dog has been a patient. $700+ was the quote to fix the cat. I asked for a discount... got a new patient discount of near $200. An hour or so later paid 300 cash and the rest via a debit card. We went home in a 2015 Mazda6, purchased in late 2017 for <13K as an off-lease, the title now in my possession. Later went to grocery store and gas station. Used a credit card for both. Cat has since made a full recovery!! Credit card bill is due next week.

Moral... Vet prices are insane!! At least ASK for a discount.
