A similar thing happened to me, while reading it I felt like I had already read it. This is most likely due to the fact that the book contains an overwhelming amount of advice for beginners.
Hey scat.. did you pull your money out using IBD stocks. I find myself wondering if the market has gotten too choppy and rotational for that method at the moment...or do I need to just accept the drawdown. I know you said you did well in the trader competitions and I know that loading up on IBD stocks is one of the ways people win those competitions.
"Mean reversion" is a thing... but it's difficult and spotty to try to trade for "when" you think a reversion move is going to start. There are not "things in the market that work for some and not for others". There are only things that don't work for everybody (that is, they work for nobody... because they don't work, period) and do work for everybody who knows how to use them.
