What are your thoughts on hybrid now that we all have some experience with it? I think it has it's positives and negatives but overall I don't mind it. Sure I would like some more specialist participation (ie liquidity) and price improvement but it could be worse. I still think it's the better market to trade (compared to nasdaq) but maybe thats just me... Everytime I try and hit something on nasdaq it either moves away or I get 68 shares or something (LOL)... -Guru
Hybrid is a weak attempt at bringing the NYSE into the 21st Century. The NYSE will end up looking just like the NASDAQ when all is finished. The NASDAQ should sieze the opportunity with advertising blitzes. They should say we've done what the NYSE is trying to do for the past 30 years.
