by the way chomsky and Piezoe have a major disagreement. Piezoe defends TPP because piezoe is a soros / globalist shill. Chomsky called TPP a neo liberal assault to further corporate domination. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/01/13/noam-chomsky-obama-trans-pacific-partnership_n_4577495.html Piezoe if you are in favor of TPP you are not a libertarian.... you are not even a chomsky libertarian as you would have to be against tpp and banker and corporate domination. if you are against tpp you are not only a a person who understand what is just, you may be a libertarian.
Anarcho capitalist's are solving for absolute freedom from state (government) libertarians are not and therefore advocate some form of state control - government (yes some do want less state). Which always leads to some form of oppression and that's the problem anarcho capitist's have with libertarians. I've had a few discussions with Piezoe in the past on these issues and he certainly has no problem with more state control and government who are also by their very nature corrupt.
Yes. We disagree on some of these points, because I believe unfettered capitalism, though I consider myself very much a capitalist, leads to tyranny and a curtailment of freedom. There is irony involved. Chomsky has written extensively on this topic. I try to avoid distilling the issue down to a question of more or less state control. I like some kinds of State intervention and don't like other kinds. I'm not enthusiastic about corporate control of government and fascism.
AC's reasoning would disagree as any form of state intervention to control unfettered capitalism leads to corruption-tyranny-totalitarianism through the process of incrementation.(and the fact that governments are corrupt by nature and can just not be trusted) This is where we are at right now- corporate owned government.
Yes, the government is owned by the corp and they want to take it back. So do the libertarians. The problem arises when it comes to giving it away. One side wants to give it right back to the government.
Anarcho capitalist philosophy also points out if you support any form of government or Authority then you are supporting slavery - totalitarianism definitively.
