"There is a day" Wow. That was a good one. You have the discerning eye. I wish I was there. I'm homesick.
Lycra, hot spring D-cups Denise Richards Cherry blossom hot ass babe spunkworthy babeness. Well, no it's not a haiku, but who gives a rats ass about the specific formalities of the freakin japanese language. They dont use syllabales the way we english speakers do, so what the heck, its a cute format, but get over it already, in english, there is a lot of flexibility in the format. Alas, i could not make a haiku as beatiful as denise richards, but i think i will recover, with time. Right, well, pants. The once proud trademark of quality that was browning, and the cool embroidered buck logo, is a thing of the past, perhaps-same could be said of many brands, im sure. I make no bones about it, I am a gear junky, in much the same way many drive a 4x4, because they "could" drive somewhere on weekends, I like to own clothing, that "could" see me through if I ever was retarded enough to actually need it. http://www.browning.com/products/catalog/clothing/detail.asp?value=A019&cat_id=302&type_id=116 I have a pair of these, way roomy fit-a good thing, it is odd to me the traditional canvas work cut pant is seemingly trendy now, with the stupid, idiotic skate wear baggy cargo crap kids seem to wear these days. They are, however, the loudest pants have ever owned, they are absurdly loud. Lots of nylon, you know. Fuck em, and their roomy skatewear, it ain't special. Quality haiku; "Bangladesh made, dreams I sew this shit For you, fuck you whitey."
Those pants are dope looking Ac I agree. Anytime you patch something I'm a sucker for it-- I love those green old wool military sweaters with the patches on the shoulders.. so cool, who wears out their elbows fashion victims! The shoulder is where all the heavy shit goes... I like your poem very much... we could easily turn this thread into a highbrow affair I was an English major you see.... but let me give you one small warning about those pants. I too like to wear stupid utility clothes,... my favorite ever being a bright orange jumpsuit which is used on the decks of aircraft carriers at night-- I wore that to Area disco in NYC a lot... and then I did get this pair of Duck Hunting full camo pants that I wore around the city.. the squirrels seem to react weird to me and they got real aggressive, one even wrapping around my leg in a love hump while his friend snatched a Duncun Donut from my hands... they almost went into my hair it was scary, something about those pants let them know it was ok to mess with me; they screamed I am not human!. So be careful in the bush Ac, less an amorous antelope comes ambling your way! ~ stoney
You know........maybe the indian's left because of the damn ticks. They knew how to deal with these things. I have some arrowheads from canada, flint knapped.....(blackfoot i think) quite beautiful really, certainly sharp enough, and to know they were hand made is remarkable. They might be chert or another stone, flint knapping is a technique, doesnt mean they are flint, not 100% on these things. I think its relevant, to consider such a life..........an arrowhead can be easily re-used, yet surprising numbers of them turn up, its not as if they took five minutes to make. Is this the result of warfare, or just indicative of losing a lot of arrows hunting? Or something else? Either way, skilled craftsmen made all of these things, not to mention the skill required to fletch and shaft an arrow, much less make a decent bow. Remarkable.
I agree completely Ac. If I had to make a weapon in the woods I probably could- wrapping a sharp rock to a stick with vine then I could hunt my victims quite easily whoops! I mean get my mail at the town post office!~ stoney
