Thought for the day............

  1. "The most important scientific revolutions all include, as their only common feature, the dethronement of human arrogance from one pedestal after another of previous convictions about our centrality in the cosmos."

  3. Ah-hah!!
Finally, proof of what has been long suspected-kids dont really like clowns.
Of course, clowns are gonna say they do, job depends on it, but anecdotal evidence, finally backed up, suggests many think they are just freaky and wierd.

Not so sure about this as the best publicity though, from the article-like dogs and spiders?

Heather Myers, aka PipSqueakTheClown, said while many of those in hospitals and nursing homes appreciate their fun antics, there are of course those who are scared.

"There are those who are afraid of clowns, this is unavoidable, the same way that there are those afraid of dogs and spiders," she said.

  4. She's a pretty cool kid. Yeah, she's good looking, the silent type that commands attention. never complains but not too bright in the program dept. She's getting a good insurance settlement, WE decided a major portion is an annuity with income and cash payout at 25 years. Knuckle head wants all cash now. It'll be gone and so will he.

  5. Oh, ok. A bit young for a 30+ loser maybe?
Nevermind, items 2 & 4 also work for me, on almost any basis.

  6. Better than the scary type that requires incarceration.

Insurance settlement-you know, wouldn't it be just as worrisome, if a prospective beau didnt care about her money? At all? Being a parent, a loaded dice.

I require only an easy going babe, with a great personality, easy on the eyes, who likes nothing more than inputting solid trade orders from a self proclaimed charting guru, for mutual financial benifit.
Obviously, a shared interest in marksmanship & firearms, rogaining, whale hunting, enduro riding, and downhill skiing/winter sports would be nice, as would a shared interest in foreign film, fine cuisine, extreme jelly wrestling and the occasional night at home discussing why country music is just plain evil, over some fine wine, could work for me.

  7. It alway's shits me, when someone whom fortune smiled upon, has a great life, goes and kicks the bucket, let alone without carrying it on.......pavarotti was old, and vastly obese , just a matter of time.
    Great life though.
Fisher, a neurotic whose genius people cant actually understand, because they dont get chess..........not a bad innings, really.

Heath Ledger? Who was he? A giant of screen, an icon?
No, just an actor, dead at 28, for no particularly good reason it would seem.

Even worse, probably his best role, most international audiences never saw-IMHO, his best work, AND the best portrayal of the story of the iconic australian bushranger, ned kelly.
Ledgers best work? We report, you decide.

Do yourself a favour, and find this movie, wherever your at.

  8. The chart. Lifeless ink on the page. I wonder what one could ascertain from this weeks chart 1-2 or 5 years from now if they hadn't participated in the real day to day events.

  10. Couple years from now, someone will be selling something, there'll be a chart with little green "buy" arrows and little "red" sell arrows, raison d'être, when in reality it was a frog.
