  1. How 'bout now? Looks like the economic numbers of the last couple of days combined with this prolonged runup might give us a real pullback here. Not a crash "apocalypse now" scenario but a pullback.

    Like I said earlier today, I still think the s&p can close the year below 1350.

  4. It can also close above 1400. It can also close below 1300 or above 1450. Using the "can" verb is not telling much. You need to provide some kind of probabilities behind it. My take is 50/50 , because I just do not know.

    i wasn't sure what satchel was talking about, so i followed with an equally ambiguous line. i learned that in dealing w bozente.

    The only thing i've predicted here(?) is that the s&p has topped for 2006, and that was in another trading thread.
