  1. Obama is not socialist, sure to conservative republicans he may sometimes sound "socialist" , and may have some socialist ideas, may have flirted with socialism in his youth , but he 's nothing like a socialist. Go to France, or Scandinavia to see what socialists are, you 'll come back in a hurry and will love Obama. I can understand why conservatives don' t like him though as I consider myself conservative too and I am no fan of Obama - although I find him very likeable, he sure is a good politician -, but I believe a lot of the hatred is fearmongering spread by many idiots among conservatives in redneck states and perhaps also the fact that he is black. Trying to fix the healthcare system and make it available to all is a good thing even if Obamacare has obvious problems .

As for taxes, consider that Buffet and Soros themselves have called for higher taxes on the rich as more redistribution is necessary. Whew are they evil socialists too ? I for one would favor a big one time levy on all insider shareholders who made out like bandits with QE.

How about taking the stupid politics talk to that place? Immigration talk is still relevant, Obama shit isn't. (because you guys don't even know what socialism is)

Anyway, going back to the original topic, I think sometimes immigrants have an advantage, namely maybe better but certainly different education and a VERY different mindset. Not to mention being poor gives plenty of drive and a will to succeed.

All 3 immigrants Peterffy, Soros and Darvas did extremely well in their newly chosen countries inspite of being an immigrant. Sure there are thousands of their peers who didn't succeed as much, but they should be hailed and try to be followed...
