That is the whole point. Peterffy argues that under a Rep government we would be less socialistic, and history shows otherwise... :)

Not to mention Mormonism is one of the more socialist religions with their extra taxation and giving that to the needy... Wealth redistribution at its best!

"That would be a better investment of money instead of comparing a Eastern European economy (in the 1930's) to America now."

billionaires are very lucky. they can always get free advice on how to spend their money.

not quite. in the private sector giving is voluntary. if you don't like the dictates of your religion you leave. taxes and government fines are not exactly voluntary.

  6. I don't think he argues that at all.

IMV... he's saying, "Odumbo is SMASHING US INTO SOCIALISM... and must be stopped for the good of all.

We've morphed Socialistic ever since T. Roosevelt in 1906... getting worse by the day... Odumbo trying to ACCELERATE the destruction... Romney perhaps less so.

The Socialism in the US isn't going to be "turned around in a day"... likely "won't be turned around at all".. a Romney win perhaps represents "putting on the brakes for a while"... and that's more than enough reason to kick Odumbo to the curb.

  7. Odumbo??

My apologies for my ignorance, I just don't know who Odumbo is?....

If you are referring to President Obama, would it be too difficult or complex for you giving him the respect he deserves, even if you don't like him.

I for one did not vote for him. But he is still the President of the U.S., meaning OUR president, even if we did not vote for him.

It is just basic, manners, respect and education. Something not acquired with money or social level, but just taught at home. Some have it...some don't.

  8. ...as for the SOCIALISM part...please be SPECIFIC...not referring to just something you heard at the local pub or read on Enquirer magazine or FOX news!.

    SPECIFICS!....facts matter.

  9. Like many others, Peterffy may have voted for Odumbo based upon his campaign promises...

    1. Reduce the deficit
    2. Stop the warring
    3. Close down Gitmo
    4. Shovel-ready jobs
    5. Recover jobs
    6. Etc.

Everybody figured out he just said those things because they are what people wanted to hear for their vote.

Turns out... EVERYTHING HE SAID WAS A LIE... NEVER HAD ANY INTENTION OF DOING ANY OF THEM.

The only campaign promise he's kept, "to fundamentally transform the US"... Sounded good because people thought "anti-Bush"... but what Odumbo really meant was to accelerate us towards COMMUNISM. Now that a portion of his '08, supporters have caught on, don't want to vote for him again.
