those two graduate degrees didn't do you much good when it comes to reading comprehension. Might have been the institutions were too prestigious. Thank g-d I got an education in the good old public school, where they taught you how to read and then you had to tell the teacher what the writer meant. Not sure if they still do that now that they invented the "Department of Education." You agree with me, you just don't know it, for no other reason than you can't read. Or more likely, you can't comprehend what you read because those prestigiuos schools have narrowed your mind to such a small degree that the only way out is a big bang.
Tough to respond to that....primarily because I "can't read"... Let me think about that for a moment... Yes, fine I agree with you in everything...I just "don't know it yet" (spooky)!
...sorry, I did not see (or could not read) the "big bang" comment. Not sure what you are referring too (proof I can't read) By the way, how do you know I went to prestigious schools???...I don't remember saying I did?. I merely questioned someone else's school credentials. NOT a word about my schools. Who has a "reading comprehension" problem??? I probably...I just don't know it!!! good argument
'those two graduate degrees didn't do you much good when it comes to reading comprehension. Might have been the institutions were too prestigious.' have ever heard of grade inflation or perhaps he is a graduate of a graduate school of education, whose graduates read at a level below that of a high school graduate? if stellarinv represent the average person with 2 graduate degrees, it is no wonder that the US cannot compete against china
Guys/Gals...when writing please try to write in simpler terms... As some of you know I don't know how to read! Which at times makes me SCREAM (sensitive ears - eyes in this case) But please, seriously....no Diatribes...especially worded and grammatically incorrect ones, with illogical assumptions about me, my life, and/or educational and professional backgrounds. Thank you. I think china - should be capitalized ==> China. I would be curious to learn where the statistics come from (source) on the "average person" with two graduate degrees!!!
your mind has become so small, that you have trigger words, like "abortion" "taxes" "public education" and as soon as you hear those words, you have a prepared response. You can't listen to somebody who doesn't use those words in the context you usually like to argue them in. Let me try again, The topic is, "The Slippery Slope" I'm not your enemy. You're no better than those on the other side who as soon as they hear you say a trigger word have an opinion. I'll give you a clue, I wasn't talking about abortion (a subject which apparently you don't want to comment on) I was talking about the slippery slope. It's the general direction of society and government. And every now and then somebody stops and asks the question, "Is this fundamentally sound?" Everything makes sense at the moment. There is always a quick fix. Peterflys message was, "I'm not so sure this is a good idea." All you have to do is come up with an intelligent response. But nice try on the 1930's communism.
Canned responses...check Tiny almost non-existent mind...check I tried! THANKS (sensitive ears -eyes- please cover) for the clue! Come up with intelligent response?...impossible, if one does not know how to read, much less without a mind. Sorry Not sure who is "Peterfly"...if you mean Peterffy, I "understood" his message REALLY (you know what to do) boils down to vote for Romney...but I probably have a "hearing comprehension" problem, as well! (I love emoticons)...watch someone come back and say ... "of course he does its a child's mind...or...his prestigious school taught him that in his graduate degrees" And those comments coming from ignorance as they know nothing about me, my schooling (if any)...etc, etc.
and it really isn't even about government or society, it's about man's ability to handle the concept of the slippery slope. If we do that, then what is next? No different than a trader who gets caught in a losing position and asks, "If it went down today, how much can it keep going down? I could lose everything!"
"no Diatribes" is obviously from from an expert in grammar. there is no comma after life. i have not made any assumptions about your background but based upon your writing your education is poorly grounded. ask for a tuition refund. "especially worded and grammatically incorrect ones, with illogical assumptions " this is the usual ET bs. posters make accusations without offering proof.
