This is your fate once you're on the lam with stolen crypto

This whole outrageous nonsense about excessive years of imprisonment in the legal system needs to stop. So, if you are sentenced to 40K years in prison, they will just leave your corpse in a cell for that long? DUH! The Klingons had it right. The simple phrase "your natural lives" which means until you DIE makes the most sense.

  3. Most likely, yes. Or he figured there was enough of a chance to risk it for $2 billion of equity.

Up to that point in time, neither the BitFinex hack was solved, nor was the DAO hack. It was believed falsely by many that hacking crypto was untraceable at that point in time.

The reality is, it just took the Government a few years to get up to speed on the latest fin-tech technology.

The most impressive thing lately, is still how the FBI were able to track down crypto that had been washed through a tumbler. To anyone else who thought they got away with doing that in the past, they are sweating it now. They've basically committed themselves to looking over their shoulders every day of their life for either the FBI or the Taxman. :sneaky:

These guys are always on "a beach" (with cocktail). I mean, I never read such a guy was caught up in the mountains or in an opera building.

To be honest, very few opera buildings in the mountains. :)

I think some people don't like to travel or be away from home. That is why he chose Albania, very similar to Turkey and in proximity to it.

I meant or, not and, but never mind :) Getting caught in an opera building up in the mountains woud be a nice 007-scenery
I find it funny how lifegoals change over time. When I was in my 20's I always pictured myself in a cabriolet in the sun making fun as a goal, how cliché
