Huge moves and huge volumes are a double edge sword for the noobs and paper trading gods of the world.

The spreads on the oex weekly options are extremely wide nothing like having to be right on both sides. No thanks I would rather trade markets that are tighter and father away from exp. In my 25 years of trading I find that exp is more like gambling, and I don't like to gamble. ( I would have know problem being on the other side of those markets as a market maker)

 

The weeklies expired on the opening ? Wouldnt that make it hard to place a closing order today?

 

closed all 15 contracts out at $12.80 for a total of $19,181.00
