Of course you'll agree that if they win they'll have no one to congratulate but themselves.

My father fought the Nazis in WW2. He would be disgusted that someone like Trump with fascist ideals has been put forward as a candidate by his beloved Republican party. I know that my father certainly would not vote for Trump, nor would anyone who was by his side in WW2 -- many of them also worked for the U.S. Defense industry for decades after the war. These are patriotic Americans from the greatest generation and none of them would want anything to do with a dictator wannabe like Trump.

Trump is the one effectively pissing on the graves of our veterans and dishonoring their memories. You only have to look at Trump's behavior relative to the military while calling dead veterans "suckers and losers".

That's not the point. What went on in NYC was not Nazism. Your father would tell you that too, regardless of who he'd vote for. Saying it was is pissing on his grave. Due respect.

My father would say that the Trump event at MSG was not very different than the rallies held in Nuremberg in the 1930s -- while my German father-in-law who grew up in Nuremberg during WW2 would nod his head and say this is exactly true.

The rally at Madison Square Garden in 2024 undeniably had fascist undertones, yet the defense that ‘this isn’t Nazi Germany’ is a deliberate distraction. By invoking Nazis, spin doctors sidestep the core issue, fascist rhetoric isn’t limited to one historical example.

Fascism can manifest in various ways, and downplaying it by insisting on a strict Nazi comparison is a tactic to avoid accountability.

Fascist sentiment isn’t always about brown shirts and swastikas; it’s about authoritarianism, scapegoating, and stirring nationalism. Recognising these patterns doesn’t require a Nazi analogy to be valid or concerning.

Well, if it's gambling then if they lose they can blame luck, not themselves?

Rhetorical question: what, or what kind of things, would a person have to say to convince a listener he's a fascist?

You are fearing something that has not happened. And dare I say that fear is being fed to you for a reason.

If you and I met, or you and say... B1... you may disagree with each other... but you wouldn't hate each other. Do you hate someone you meet because of their skin color? Do you even think about hating them? Of course not. And I firmly believe 95% of Americans fall into this category. We are being told that is not the case. Vote for Trump and you are a Nazi? Gimmee a f'n break. That's ridiculous. The American people are not like that.
