  3. Why the urgent desire to predict?

Trade what you see. The market can go higher or lower - regardless of what you think SHOULD be.

Mr. Market is like Mr Magician, always pulling tricks out of the hat you weren't expecting.
Mr market is not sane, so why apply sane thinking to it?

  6. You could have bought sat tight and held and made good return. Instead you pike shares everyday like its a casino and end up with nothing while making your broker richer. I wouldn't be critizing ya if you accepted your mistake instead of trying to sound so smart.

---$80 billion printed monthly by the Fed cannot cause markets to rise indefinetly. We crash Monday to restore sanity to the markets. Timing may be off but history will prove me right. ---

well.. if you haven't learn it yet -the timing is everything. applies to trading and everywhere else in life :)

if your timing is off-then you wrong. your last sentence is oxymoron
and first one could be too. why not?they can and do whatever the f** they want. look at the volumes. markets are empty. it's much easier for fed or whatever to move them. if you don;t like this conspiracy-then it could be that the markets simply reflect current policy and relationship between stocks\currencies. look at the dollar. it's in deep s**t again..

you sounds like those old farts, who are tried to value and short all those tech stocks back in 2000 ..they were right, but their timing was off. eventually they were right, but they got their margin call first :)

but i have to agree-it's ridiculous. we got markets at all time high, while we are in recession. look at GDP. look at market reaction, after release-NONE. flat, same low volume.

Sure it is, but that sort of analysis falls under the heading of what I like to call "fundagenitials".
