  3. Hello

    Hello

Did you not read your own stories? WESH was the one who originally aired the story. New thread title should be NBC makes shit up on the fly. Also note that when Colbert used it to do a hit piece on Fox news, he says the original ones to air it was WESH, note the GIGANTIC NBC logo in the bottom right corner of the original WESH video.

Media Matters is incredibly biased to run that as a hit piece on FOX, when they were using NBC's information to go with the story. Plus why is it that all of these leftwing sites get their news from comedians?

    From the media matters article:

"WESH.com reports an anonymous parent's claim that red and green are banned at Heathrow Elementary. On November 24, WESH.com in Orlando reported that one parent of a student at Heathrow Elementary claimed the students can't use Christmas colors:

  4. You have a point. Thank you. However, WESH is only a local NBC affiliate. Not that it gets a pass for that reason. But what FOX aired went national. So, yeah, there is that thing about due diligence, and that perhaps more attention should have been paid before going national on TV. But your point is taken.

  5. Hello

    Hello

Doesnt matter that they are an affiliate they are running news under NBC's name, there is no way that a local affiliate of FOX would have been given a pass simply because it was only an affiliate. NBC is responsible for their affiliates just as FOX is.

Gretchen Carlson is an idiot, but I still find it incredible that liberals use the poor reporting of an NBC affiliate to run hit pieces on FOX.

  7. Ahh, I see, so NBC isn't held to this same standard of "due diligence", for "some reason"... Hmm...

  8. As I said, no one gets a pass. But FOX certainly took the opportunity to make hay. As a member of the "MSM," NBC certainly wasn't playing to its alleged "MSM" narrative. So it was likely a simple case of sloppy journalism at the local level. FOX, on the other hand...well, it certainly suited its purpose and they wasted no time airing nationally...

  10. Seeing Gabby is a huge fan of Media Matters as his source of genius, we have this gem representing what he means by due diligence:

DUMBEST WEBSITE ON THE INTERNET STRIKES AGAIN–

George Soros might as well have taken that million dollars and thrown it out the window.
Media Matters embarrasses itself again. The far left website posted a video the other day slamming FOX News for creating a video that shows Sarah Palin punching Nicolle Wallace.

But there was just one problem.
The spoof video was created by The Tonight Show… Not FOX News.

They updated their post with this correction…
*CORRECTION: This clip’s original headline stated that “Fox’s Special Report creates special video of Sarah Palin punching Nicolle Wallace.” The video Special Report ran was originally from NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Media Matters regrets the error.

    Boy, they sure are stupid.
