Well, if they are convinced Chase didn't act correctly, what's stopping them from taking them to court?
You went from being so sure you were willing to bet there was an explanation given to the account holders to now, they should sue Sue JPM Chase with the best and highest paid lawyers? You need to stop being a Chase bankster apologist and ass-licker
It's all a slippery slope though and I have two examples. First is that it has been suggested, or even tabled, that mis-gendering a person would be a crime. Yes, you call an obvious looking person a man, and if he decided that he wanted to be a woman, you have now committed a crime. Second comes from Australia. They wanted to classify a man lying to a woman about his status or employment, which would cause her to sleep with him, as now being guilty of rape. The rationale is that if the woman knew that he wasn't in fact as successful as he purported to be, then she would have never slept with him. They want to change the essence of what consent means and have the ability to withdraw consent after the fact. Ok... just looked it up, and in this link, it seems to state that 2. You will not be guilty if the misrepresentation was about your income, wealth or feelings. https://hannalegal.com.au/2023/03/13/lying-to-get-laid-sex-by-fraudulent-inducement-in-nsw/ But you can appreciate how scary this still is. The fact that even some misrepresentations are possible is scary. Laws are changing to quickly, and cancel culture is so prevalent, and the woke narrative is so strong. Maybe we should also cancel rich day traders who skim profits from long term holders. Let's face it, day traders can be thought of as parasites, just like what day traders say about HFT. Anything is open season, and going forward, most laws will not actually be just or beneficial, except to coerce and control the masses for the benefit of the few. And these stupid laws is what will be used to ruin you.
Let this be my warning to everyone: do not mess with freewallet or you risk becoming a victim of their ruthless and greedy scam. Be careful and keep your funds in safe and verified wallets! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5459463.0
Fine: only bitcoin. It would be COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE for the people mentioned by the OP to put their money in eth or usdt. We agree on this. Therefore if it’s inappropriate for them to put their money in eth, then it’s inappropriate for them to put their money in btc as the properties that differentiate the different currencies aren’t relevant to the point of the thread.
Still very convinced, because IF Chase didn't treat them fairly they WOULD sue, highest paid lawyers or not. You missed the word IF. You need to stop twisting words and you need to stop believing everything you read on the internet. Well, not everything, you only believe everything that matches your opinion, everything else must be BS, apologies and ass licking ...
The thread is actually way beyond a mere company I hate to speak for the OP, but the title seems pretty clear "why you need bitcoin" and the words in the first post speak of the importance of sovereign individual The title did not say "why your company or why a company needs bitcoin" Let me give an example of a Russian billionaire living in a no-extradition country (I think Dubai) who puts $100M in USDT, $100M in btc and $100M in Eth The usdt can and will be frozen by Tether with a court order, same with Eth due to its PoS network through censorship via 90% of the nodes in US-friendly jurisdiction and centralized infrastructure of the network, i.e. Consensys All other cryptos and token derivatives have similar problems to Eth and ERC-20 tokens All the nuances and complexities of why Bitcoin is so important and powerful is explained in in this 2-minute video in 2013... as it relates to the subject of this thread In 10 years after this video, Bitcoin has surpassed the expectations of its capabilities wrt to the thread topic. Adoption, price as it relates to the network hashrate security, among other things An interesting metric, Bitcoin settles more $ value than the Visa network in 1 year, over $14 Trillion. This is part of the adoption There's a reason Blackrock wants Bitcoin I know you are smart but I do not have confidence that you will be able to comprehend. You simply lack context and experiences around many of these concepts I hope and pray that you never do. It would be unfair for someone like you to acquire bitcoins so easily where others have dedicated too much hard work Peace out
To be fair, that's not what the CEO of Coke said. They said we "Need to be less white"... along with numerous other indications that anything being born white is evil and negative. But... truth be told, he didn't say "Don't be.." Just "Be less.." that color. LOL. Just imagine the outrage if you reversed the skin-color in that woke-training session? Shame on EVERYONE in this forum who just shuts-up and goes along with it because... "We don't want to upset BLM. So we will silently support the wokenomics." Honestly, how do you POSSIBLY excuse a blue-chip company in this day and age... for making such racist comments. All the while claiming you are 'removing racism'. What the fuck is wrong with everyone? How does a CEO like that even stay in place? Not even an apology by the company? Buffett, being a big holder of stock, should put shoe-polish all over his own face. Or short the stock.
Your example is irrelevant to the discussion. Start another for this example. His argument is that a bank can end your account because of your political stance. This has not been proven to be true. You keep building strawmen arguments.
