Nope still there, still the same price : http://www.bhsusa.com/manhattan/upper-east-side/7-east-67th-street/townhouse/16612140. It used to be listed with Sotheby's. I guess they can't sell it so now it's listed with another boutique agency. This new agency did add more photos that showcase this magnificent house better. Hope they have better luck this time.
Those $40 mil properties look exactly like stage sets by people who have no idea of comfort. I would hate to live in one where you can't ruffle the cushions, make messy piles of toys etc. Like living in an uncomfortable palace. They can keep them.
These are professional photoes that are made to look like they can fit in a magazine. They take deliberately take all personality out of a place. I am sure that these houses look more lived in when people do actually live in them.
Ever had your house sold? If you can't sell your house with it looking all clean and neat, you certainly wouldn't be able to sell your house when it's all messy and with all the cushions "all ruffled". Now that's definitely NOT a blissful situation. LOL
Finally sold! For $28.5 million, what a cut considering they originally bought the property for $33 million from Bronfman. They lost 14% for the sale! Poor Annabelle. Whoever bought this house really got it for a bargain. https://ny.curbed.com/2018/4/12/17228610/upper-east-side-charles-murphy-home-sold
